Except change the spelling to STEELAGE. (could be steel age, or could be the act of wielding steel... either way that's pretty awesome!!)

If the band weighs enough (like fear factory) they could call themselves 1 ton of flesh.

Yeah some people buy rediculous amounts of stuff at the metal market.
I was on a tight budget so out of 4 festivals only bought 3 t shirts and that was it.
    A bloodbound Nosferatu tshirt.
    2 Viking tshirts
One says Beserker: Special forces Midgard
Other one says Viking Rage tour and on the back for tourdates it has all the dates they invaded countries
    And to be continued underneath.

I can help with Bergen but Oslo if you have hotel questions or whatever, I cannot help because I always stay with friends when I visit Oslo.

Well as if by some sort of bizzare blackened miracle, I am going up to Calgary, Alberta Canada tomorrow for Noctis Valkries IV festival this weekend. Shit I gotta find my passport.

My friend Shi is letting me crash in her room, there might be a extra bed, or I could get a roll a way.

So I will be meeting Two more Metal Cruisers. Jake (and seeing his band Viathyn play the festival!) and Jeff from Edmonton!

STOKED FOR THIS. I am not going to have much money and wanted a Viathyn shirt if they had em and a Noctis Shirt if they had one of those. Its either food or METAL merch for me..lol

    I better get to packing

Has anyone ever been to Ragnarök-Festival (pagan metal fest) in Germany? From what I've read, this sounds like my kinda thing. In 2011, it's the end of April. http://www.ragnaroek-festival.com/

This is all super awesome news! To answer your questions: Noctis will have a festival shirt, likely with the image from the poster on it.

We have several shirt designs available for $20 CAD, they're super comfy!
Food in Calgary sucks... haha... go for the merch!

Not sure about the entry re-entry. I don't see why there would be no re-entry.. it's a pretty big venue with lots of doors and lots of security... but don't quote me on it haha

Thanks! Esp if I have a press pass I would think there would be re-entry.

All packed and ready to roll to the airport at 7;30 for my 10 am flight. I get to Calgary airport at 12:25pm . So I am taking the shuttle to Ramada and hanging in the lobby and await my roomate whom arrives 40 minutes after I.

Jake I   probably wont have enough for merch honestly.

Dude that's wicked you've got a bunch of extra time! Not too much to do in Calgary unfortunately... if it's nice out tomorrow maybe take a stroll around Princess Island Park or Eau Claire market on the North end of downtown (there are maps eeeeverywhere on the corners and stuff downtown)
Or take a walk down Stephen Avenue (8th avenue South), which is really close to your hotel and stop for a beer at one of the pubs (I would suggest The Unicorn!)

There are two metal bars close by:
    The Distillery on 7th ave.
    Vern's on 8th ave.

All this stuff is definitely within walking distance of your hotel.

I won't be able to catch the conference unfortunately, but check it out if you can (I don't know if your press pass covers that).

Oh, and definitely no worries about the merch dude! Take some pictures if you can of our performance, that would be great!
