Unfortunately I missed that show. I did see the Cronos Venom 2 years ago. It was a badass show. From what I hear Cronos comes across as the guy that buys into his own hype

next gig: I'd like to get to the Zimmer's hole show in vancouver, but it's looking unlikely, so it will probably be the Ne Obliviscaris headline gig in Tallahassee, FL, followed by the next show in Columbus, OH, and then also the show in Indianapolis, IN... it shall be awesome!

I haven't updated in a bit, so I'll list both shows I saw this weekend.

Friday: Warbringer and Enforcer with Ex Mortus and Cauldron (Cauldron sucked, Enforcer isn't my thing, the other two were amazing of course!)

Sunday: Nile (not a huge fan, went to hang out with my buddy who's visiting from overseas)

I skipped the 1349 show last night because... 1349, and also too much fucking snow. Nile had us chanting "FUCK! SNOW!" for a few minutes on Sunday, and I definitely still feel that sentiment.

Next Show: BOOOAAAT

I might go and see Swallow the Sun and Lik on Saturday. Not sure yet, because the gig is stupidly early due to the venue double booking the evening. Plus it's my only weekend when I might get some rest before flying to Florida.

Last night Exmortus,Cauldron( with Dan from Striker doing vocals as the singer for Cauldron has laryngitis) had the lyric sheets in his like Chuck Billy with Uli Jon Roth singing Sails of Charon on the first 70k) haah

Behemoth is probably one of the best live acts I've ever seen. It sounded like they were playing off a fucking vinyl.

My last was a bunch of local bands at Calgary's pub Distortion. A few bands I've never heard of but for the most part they fuckin' killed it. Stab Twist Pull, Sonder, Forsaken Rite, Hazzerd and Stenno.

My next, well... I guess that depends on who plays first in a few days.

Ask the NeO guys if CoF's lighting director brought back some "presents" for them from 70K. --Namely, photos of people wearing NeO t-shirts on the cruise...including me...to show the support for them onbroad.

That was one of the coolest moments of the cruise for me.
