One or 2 good bands worth watching but overall a very questionable lineup for something a festival using metal in the name.
    No offense.

Pffft. HeavyMTL is weak this year. Compare that to HeavyTO lineup:

    http://www.heavyto.com

    • Megadeth
    • Rob Zombie
    • Billy Talent
    • Slayer
    • Anthrax
    • Opeth
    • Motörhead
    • Mastodon
    • Children Of Bodom
    • Testament
    • As I Lay Dying
    • Volbeat
    • Baptized in Blood
    • Anvil
    • The Sword
    • Times of Grace
    • Melissa Auf der Maur
    • DevilDriver
    • Diamond Head
    • Underoath
    • Exodus
    • Death Angel
    • Endast
    • Dead and Divine

I know where I am going to be that weekend. :headbanger: :headbanger: :headbanger:

I saw KISS 3 times last year. It was awesome, even though the shows were exactly the same (apart from a hail to Dio the day he died). I really like their music and they put on a good show. What more can you ask? (rhetorical question!)

I was never into Kiss as a kid, always thought they were cheesy and their music was bubble gum'ish rock & roll. Most of my friends with similar tastes felt the same.

As an adult now I kind of get a kick out of them and wouldnt mind seeing them if I got a chance.

Their 1st 4 studio albums (you could argue 1st 6 ones) are as good as any other classic rock bands, regardless of their future outputs.

I have to say the times I saw Morbid Angel live, they never were really good. There was always something wrong. Which is a shame as I really like their music, and they have some really brilliant songs, which you think would sound awesome live. But unfortunately they never sounded as they could have sounded.

 Margie posted that somewhere too. It's the singer from Blackguard if anyone didn't notice. Hopefully there were less bands like that one that was playing at the festival for Nicolas. Holy shit that was bad sounding.

I wouldn't mind being in the pit with him, then it's legalized violence. Then again, Margie would get all pissy at ya if you scratched one hair on Paul's head (URGH, why do I have to actually know their names  )

And thay is possibly the lamest pit in existence. It's huge, and 5 people are in it      (Blame it on no one wanting to touch or go near anything Blackguard related)

   you're a closet groupie!

Coulda used that shirt last night. There was a little Mexican girl that looked like one of those Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Men!

Every now and then, I could pick out someone in the pit doing the Lawnmower or Pulling Weeds. (Wish I could remember what video that was where they named all the crazy mosh dances that people do.) :P
Never take anything I say seriously.

Am I Evil? I am Dan. Yes, I am!

Picture does look odd but it is a for real shirt. Saw it when they played here and almost got one but opted for the Forbidden work shirt instead.
