    Warphine,

Yeah. I've seen them 6-7 times over the years. Mostly Ozzfests/Rockstar Mayhem type fests. He was severely ripped last year. Love that he's still an energy bomb on stage. Great presence. I definitely think the roids got to him.

That Killswitch / As I Lay Dying summer tour is sure going to be awkward. Jordan Mancino (drummer) can get ANY gig he wants.

I find it odd how all of his fans are bending over backwards to deny that it happened. They say it's impossible. Do they really know him that well or is it just because he sings about Jesus?

Would be funny if that was the case seeming as Christians and Catholics still hold the highest death tolls in history.

Makes me wonder what Christianity would've been like if it had stayed underground.

Depends really. There are a lot of stories from these emo/metalcore bands who want to show how baddass 'metalheads' they are.Despite not being metalheads and playing music that has nothing to do with metal.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of this is feigned to gain media exposures as rock stars.Kinda ironic how the more mainstream bands are trying to fuck up the image of metalheads being probably the most decent human beings on the planet.

You can sing songs about whatever you like, but the only lords that could give you a six pack would be the benevolent lords of hard work, exercise, determination, and healthy diet, or the malevolent lord of steroids!

And then God looked upon his chiseled biceps, sculpted pecs and impressive six pack,
and God decided that it was good.

A six pack of Bud Light wouldn't be worth singing metal songs about Jesus.

No, but he had mad roid rage so I don't blame him. I don't think he's at fault, the steroids made him do it.

Jesus, how far apart are those pictures? He looks a good 10 years older in the "after" one.

It's funny to run across this thread because I was talking today about this whole thing with someone today, not too long ago actually. Yeah, I know it's old news, but he hadn't heard of it. Anyway, while I was talking about it, I pulled up an article about it to give him the details, and, yes, it was probably roid rage. His attorney said the roids "devastatingly affected" his mind, and that he got caught trying to hire a hitman, as well as saying on tape that he wishes his estranged wife dead. Now they're going to plea a roid rage defense! Here's an article on it:

And all kidding aside, as much as I dislike the music he's made, this whole murder thing is really uncool.

But if it was steroid rage, shouldn't he have personally killed her?

I mean, out of RAGE you don't decide "OK, I'm going to hire someone to kill her" and wait until the deal is settled. Or do you? (I really don't know).

It's a BS argument anyways. He's a criminal and a scumbag and no matter how true that defense is, it doesn't change anything.
