Hmmm....maybe 2015 will finally be the year I make it to MDF. Thinking of buying an early bird pass on spec when they go on sale. In case I end up not going, anyone know how hard or easy it is to sell a pass?

If only the rest of the 70K lineup were announced so you could make an informed decision!

And to think - five cruises (well 5 and a half cruises) in, and NOT A SINGLE AUSTRALIAN BAND has been on a UMC cruise.
MDF announces bands as soon as they say yes and UMC doesn't.The reason is that the wish list you make up in your head is never going to be what ends up on stage.Once the deadlines for canceling with only $100 fee are gone and people have committed vacation time and plans ,you get more bands.MDF is run by music fans who have to constantly fight for the festival (Crime ridden Shitty city of Bodymore ,Murderland does nothing to help them while kids run wild in the streets ),UMC is a business now.onenight wrote:Warphine wrote:onenight wrote:Tickets go onsale Sept 5th. Yeah, Baltimore isn't exactly a top city to hold a major event in, but I was under the impression they have a really nice downtown at least? That's what I've heard, anyway. I think even the crappiest cities with the most dangerous ghettos, at least in the US, they all have "good" parts. It's like that where I live, some parts are super nice, the rest is a big shit hole.

Sweet ! If you have a craving for Pho the Mekong Delta cafe up the road from venue is excellent.

I'm thinking of going to MDF this year, but I'm not a big fan of festivals in general, specially when there are too many ppl (I'm really short, so I can't see anything).
And where do ppl hang out after the shows? Power Plant Live?
