I think he's only been in Minnesota for a couple of years. Sgt. B, I don't think you'll get a Panopticon show unless he finds a backing band. It's a one man project.

I might need to go to Olympia this summer. I am also hoping for a warmup show!

For the fellow doom fans out there who haven't listened to these guys, a few songs from their latest album:
Helevorn - Compassion Forlorn (2014)
I haven't gotten the least bit tired of listening to this album since it came out. Their older ones are pretty good, too.

I have to decide next week whether to go to Voivod/Vektor or Cannibal Corpse/Obituary/Cryptopsy/Abysmal Dawn. They are both on the same night. Unfortunately they are at venues that are not close enough to catch both.

I'm listening to this Intronaut track once again from their new album. Love it so much - have had it on repeat!

In other news, looks like Taake may not come on until after midnight tonight due to a late start time 9pm & three opening bands. Argh - do I really feel like staying up to 2am or so when I have to work tomorrow & have another event to go to tomorrow night??? Decisions, decisions!
