I only own Coat of Arms which I think is pretty good - although it is not my favorite style of music. What a killer live band they are though! I somehow missed both 70K gigs, but saw them in my home town and enjoyed the gig very much.

Just now put my phone on shuffle and a My Dying Bride song (she is the Dark) came up. Didn't know of them at all before seeing them on 70K (which I enjoyed), but they have never really "clicked" with me. Maybe I need to give them another try.

And just discovered this very trippy video for Ride - love it! Now, Cathedral is a band I'm very happy I got to see before they disbanded.

Believe it or not (since I'm such a youtube junkie), that one for Ride is the only "official" video I've seen of Cathedral (aside from watching live performances at festivals & such). The Ride one doesn't strike me as cheesy at all - just psychedelic which I think is really cool. Different era & different band of course, but I am reminded of this great video of Jefferson Airplane doing White Rabbit on The Smothers Brothers Show in 1967. Haha - I wonder if there is anyone here who remembers *that* show!! :lol:

I loved it because they had musical guests, and I was always glued to the TV for anything like that. Anyway... here's one of (in my opinion) the greatest early (part) psychedelic rock bands. :cool:

(I so often wish I had been born about 10 years earlier and been a true 60s/early 70s hippie - hanging out around Haight Ashbury, being in the Summer of Love scene, going to the Monterey Pop Fest with Hendrix in 67, Woodstock in 69 and so on.)

This is amazing - had only listened to a random song here & there from Scum before, but never all the way through. Insanely insane raw insanity :smoking:

yet awesome and I love it. Especially love the fact that Lee Dorrian & Justin Broadrick are on this.

I'm on a mission to listen to every single Napalm Death album (in date order) on Spotify before I see them Sunday....

Hmmm....that is 15 albums....I think I can get through them all between now and then. :mrgreen:
