Yeah Jari sure is rocking a hell of a beak!
If the room isn't already lit by the fire on his fretboard from his furious shredding, then his nose would certainly make a good backup!

    What do you all think??

    Debborah AKA (MC MUSE)

We actually told the guy that tattoos us to try and convince him to come (not fo tattooing but to have a good time). But if the ship would be cool with it I'm sure he'd love to listen to music, tattoo and get paid. They would have to be smaller tattoos though.

Wow that's a really well done piece. I love when tattoos have that 3D effect. My friend has one that wraps around his lower leg, and it looks like the skin is peeled back and there's a bunch of wires interlaced with muscle tissue. It looks really neat.

Ya I was admiring the work on this tattoo, I am not a fan of the piece but the art work is crazy good. I love the work the tattoo artist did on the tuning pegs. :shred:

i second that (was that right? :heavydrink: )

i got my first tatoo on my 18th birthday as a present from my parents (i know they rock :viking: )
    second one sometime later
and i still want to get my third one, hopefully before i taking off to the US

maybe not metal, but there not shocking.
the first one was my astral sign: leo. it is sign itself, with a lions head going through it and is on my right shoulderblade.
the second one is my chinese sign: the rat, this time no animal just the sign on my left shoulder

I already know what my third one is going to be. it's going to be a dragon from a postcard which I got from my grandmother.
in this way it's still something personal as tatoo should be (in my opinion)
it also the only one from which I have a photo:

    Image

this one is going to be on my right shoulderblade

The tuning pegs are really great, I love the shading all together.

I would have to agree. Then again I also think that no one would really get something tattooed on them if there wasn't any personal significance. I have seen some awfully cliche/ugly/just plain wrong tattoos, but obviously that person likes something about it. I don't think that every tattoo someone has needs a ten minute explanation though, some may.
I think that your dragon idea is really awesome, it's a unique looking dragon and it's awesome that your grandmother gave your that postcard.

I was going to officially doomsay against this, but I see someone else shares my view, so I'll add clorine and other pool / hot tub sanitation chemicals not to mention 2000 + people potentially grinding off the new ink with their bodies during the bands.

As this is my first post first of all: Hello everybody :beerwink:

about this tattoothing I think the moving ship will be a small problem...
As being a tattoo artist myself I can tell you, if you don´t want to stay sober the whole trip you should skip the tattoo on board ;)
Alcohol thins your blood, so first of all it would be a mess to have a tattoo done, secondly the healing process will be slowed down, thirdly when there is a lot of blood coming out, the ink does not really stay very good under the skin, so you´ll definetly have do have it redone. which technically means you´ll maybe have a tattoo done by brilliant tattoo artist onboard, but it´ll either look very pale because you can´t meet him for a second appointment or you´ll have to have some other various tattooartist redo it...
Also, getting a tattoo, which is a wound and then going to concerts, sweating, jumping around and having a lot of bodycontact with other people, which means a lot of friction for the skin doesn´t sound very good...

So all in all I´d say: Skip it and rather spend the money on another beer

I´m sorry for this negative first post and I promise improvement for the future :beerwink:

so I was going to post a photo of some horrible looking tattoo to illustrate what might happen if you decided to get tattooed on the boat. However my query to Google (worst+tattoo+ever) http://www.google.com/images?q=worst+tattoo+ever&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=1366&bih=671 yielded just toooo many great examples to choose just one. So do yourself a favor and follow the link above to the results. You won't regret it, after all, looking at other people's disasters is a GREAT way to start off the day!

I couldn't decide weather to post this in the "Who has the guts to wear..." thread since PBR has been a topic there as of late, or here. But since I found it using my query I'll put it here.

He must've downed a bunch of these before deciding on this masterpiece.

I think the "R" is supposed to signify the beginning of both words in his name. In other words, take out the big R, and you have Andy Hoads.
    Make sense? ;)
