They earned it too. Great intensity and effort on the part of their forwards and some real sweet shots to beat Lou who actually looked quite strong all game.
Threat title edited to get me to a ripe old age

Why? To the contrary belief, I don't hate any NHL team (unlike that Coyote loving lady, who shall remain unnamed

Me too! Though the stupid hattrick challenge claims H. Sedin didn't get a point so my hattrick isn't showing

I missed it because I was at the Anathema show but it sounds like the only person playing well was Smitty. 47 saves? Holy hell. How often does a goalie have a 0.94 save % after allowing 3 goals? Now if only the defense had showed up to play.....

San Jose is gonna be a force this year. Yotes and Nucks are in for a long stretch if the other Californian teams provide similar competition![]()
Thankfully, we have the Albertans along for the ride to guarantee 2 of the bottom spots are accounted for![]()

NuuX wrote:In the last five years, there was always a version of "SJ will be the one to lookout for" at the start of the season. Maybe they'll live up to prediction this year, but I would be surprised if they further than conference semi-finals. I'd put my money on Blues rather than Sharks to get further in play-offs.
ShoreSlayer wrote:Well, being in different divisions, the Blues wouldn't face the Sharks until the conference final anyways so I'm not sure how the 2 relate that much one to the other.

Maybe I expressed myself the wrong way, English isn't my native language. What I meant was, Sharks are always predicted to do great things and at the end they fail while Blues go below the radar and still doing good. I guess I like the style of hockey Blues play (or at least played two seasons ago and somewhat tried last season) - hard defense, fighting for every centimeter of the ice and not participating in goal extravaganza matches (although they did score 7 goals recently).

I think congrats are in order for you as well no? Goin for the Hat Trick Hat Trick tonight. Going all favourites which I almost never do but can't pick a dog I have any confidence in. Thinking question 3 might be the one if NY defense has a strong game but can't convince myself that the Ducks won't pepper the Rangers' net with 30 or more
