Used to be the Nordiques but we all know what happen... So started following Buffalo. The worst is living in Toronto, people assume i am a Leafs fan or a CH fan because i am from Qc

Tigerfish and Athun need to show greater commitment :P

As for the actual teams and the upcoming playoffs, I'm obviously sad and embarrassed for my Canucks as they're likely to be officially eliminated tonight or with the next Yotes victory. Assuming Tortorella or Gillis or both will be gone next year and we'll be left to hope that the rebuild group of 2014/15 can provide better entertainment and get into the big show. Gonna play the HTC game and others during the post-season but just not the same when your team doesn't even get a stab. At least we're spared the pain of another first round sweep lol. But even those give you at least a week of slim hope and excitement.

Go Bruins/Yotes!! (but my money's on the Blues) :headbanger:

So the next Yotes victory should eliminate the Canucks? Don't worry then, you should be safe. My team refuses to actually play so you are safe. Fucking Yotes. No freaking urgency. We now rely on Dallas losing, we doesn't look probable. Especially since we lose even when they give us a shot. Shaking my head. I don't know what's wrong with my team but they're showing no heart or fight. I'm expecting bit changes in the offseason. Hell, even Doaner looks like he's given up

Dallas and Phoenix have both been limping and losing here n there since rhe Smith injury and the Peverly incident so hang in there. Lots of chances left to squeak in. I'm pullin' for ya as I know we won't be in the race within days. Too bad as it would've been fun to have a 3-way with you and EvilDan's teams fighting for the final spot

I hope Yotes don't make it just because Kate is a mean machine! On the other hand, I'm cheering for Suns to get into play-off so Dragič can show everyone once again that it was a mistake not getting him to the all-star game (disclaimer: as with Kopitar, I'll jump on another team's bandwagon if Suns trade Dragič :D ).

As for the Kings, the regular season has been a roller coaster with streaks going both ways. It seems they picked their shit together post-olympics and they should be a threat to reckon with in play offs. If they get Sharks I predict 5 games tops for Kings to proceed to next round just because Sharks always choke in PO.

And I predict my Pens will roll over to the first team that will play proper defense

Man, Dallas and Phoenix both seem content to give the spot up. We have tickets to the final two games this weekend. If it comes down to the season closer between the Stars and Yotes it will be quite an atmosphere at the arena.

On another note, the Stars gave the Coyotes life yet again with their loss to Columbus. Both Dallas and Phoenix seem content to yack up the final wild card spot to the other team. This weekend could get interesting. If the Coyotes can miraculously win out, they're in.

concur with NuuX on Kings vs. Sharks. Kings looking good post olymipics and sharks, well, they are the sharks in play-off time. :death:

Thanks! Though my team is a fucking joke right now. 6 game losing streak when they're in a playoff push? Fucking pathetic. This team has no heart right now and doesn't deserve to make the playoffs. They're infuriating to watch. They're getting what they deserve. Not a single win in April. I'm hoping several of the guys who don't wanna contribute are gone this summer. We don't need fucking passengers collecting a pay check. And a big fuck you to the Rangers for injuring Mike Smith, right when we were in a playoff push. Greiss has been a solid backup but he is no Smitty

Serves me right for getting full season tickets for two years.

Fun night at the Coyotes game last night, even though they lost again. I can't remember the last time we saw a win. At least the games are far less stressful when there's nothing to play for.

Bruins won the President's Trophy. Pretty cool although aside from Chicago, recent winners haven't had much success. They play Detroit in round 1. That was the toughest draw out of the three possible opponents for them. Hopefully the B's can win it all. I'd love to see Iginla have his Ray Bourque moment.

Off to see the swansong game vs. the flames tonight. Free tickets but I probably would've passed on them if not for Pat Quinn being honored pre-game. Hopefully we can send the guys and management off into the off-season with some good vibes to make some positive changes behind the scenes and resolve the dressing room and on-ice issues.

Congrats to The Mean Machine for winning regular season. It seems after a very good midseason and high overall standings Rob found himself in a slump. Here's to even more exciting play-offs.

I could hear Hartley whining at the refs about the penalty from all the way up in the rafters even while Danny was still laying unconscious and possibly dead/paralized for all we knew

He's getting his cup when he signs with the Coyotes with his BFF Shane Doan. Those two hoisting a cup together would be fantastic!

Yeah, Yotes are a shoe-in for the cup this year :P

Much closer than Calgary. Didn't you get eliminated from the playoffs like in February or something? :P

Scary! Though sounds like he's going to be okay, which is good

Glad to hear he should be okay. That looked pretty scary.

Fun weekend in Glendale. It's a shame that there was nothing to play for but pride but the games were still enjoyable. It was nice to not have to really stress out over the results for once.

Man, I hope so. First round matchup should be really tough. Detroit played Boston well all season and it looks like they match up well with them. Playoffs are a different beast, so we shall see. Hopefully the Bruins can play like they did in March. I'm still a little worried about the defense and PK but Boston certainly has the horses to win it all.

I believe so, but haven't seen anything yet. I can't remember if we need to create a new group or if the one from the regular season rolls over into the playoffs.

Never mind. My bad. It rolls over into the bracket challenge I think.
