I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist but I wouldn't put it past the powers that be to have directed Cooke and even the guy he hit to make that play happen so as to give them something to 'show' the detractors that they're clamping down hard on offenders now.

I still haven't given up hope. We have a good record against San Jose and the rest of the season isn't gonna be too tough (except for one game against Vancouver) so it can still be done! Assuming Sarich quits being a moron and costing us power plays and the refs stop throwing games we can do it!

Nothing like a game against the Devils to get back on track. We're in good shape too. 7 home games and only 3 away games remaining.

That race at the top of the East is getting real tight. This Philly/Washington game is a good one. Philly's got a couple more games left than the Caps so I'm guessing they'll still get the top seed.

Trying to keep as distracted as possible while watching the game right now (Flames v. San Jose) for the sake of my television (you'd be surprised how much damage a remote control or beer bottle can do to a tv :lol:

You have gotta be fucking kidding me! The Bruins/Canadiens game Thursday is not on TV out here. It was supposed to be on NHL Network but now that's Philly/Pitt. Fucking hell, I'm going to miss a bloodbath. Fucking boardcast rules not letting me watch my team.

Nice! I really hope to see a Washington/Boston second round. Sounds like Montreal doesn't stand a chance against Boston. In other news, the Flames' season is DONE. We have 4 games left out of 6 that we will probably win but that doesn't seem to be enough, unless 2 of the 5 or 6 teams above us fuck up royally and lose 5 of their last 8. I might find myself cheering for Vancouver if the Flames don't make it :lol:
