The only one I managed to get correct was Kings - Canucks game.
CaptOblivious wrote:well that was a crappy start to the playoffs for me... one question right and both teams i wanted to win losing. one in a heartbreaking OT the other in a penalty filled shit storm. ahh well i guess that's why series can be up to 7 games long.

Ahhh k thanks. So the answer is: Pittsburgh!
I'm sure you mentioned it before but I just forgot.
Yeah, much of that Canuck game was great but there were way too many calls. Most were decent though. Our guys gotta play with more discipline if they wanna find the kind of rhythm needed to go far.

Pfft. You don't need discipline to win the cup! You just gotta be able to get away with your goonery![]()
That Van/LA game was pretty annoying, though. I hate when most of a game is spent with one team at a man disadvantage. The Pit/Phi game was awesome to watch. I thought Pit was gonna bury them early the way things were going at the start. Didn't see too much of Det/Nsh but I can see that series potentially going the distance.
Bruins tonight! W00t!![]()
CaptOblivious wrote:the Canucks game the biggest thing that pissed me off was 1) the canucks trying to "sell" calls that shit is uncalled for and it makes the team look like a bunch of bitches

Sorry Kate
Must be a lot of Hawks fans there because it seemed like quite a few people were cheering that goal.

Sweet!
Love the 'Yotes n' hate the shithawks!
Take 'em down in 4 for all I care!
Really hoping for a better result tomorrow. As many holes as our team has and has had all year, they still have the potential to go far if they play smart. Just hoping they do

I was a little surprised it took them 78 minutes to get one past the Caps 3rd string rookie goalie but one's all it takes when they can't score at the other end

Whoops time was off, that's 1:18 not 18, so 61 mins

though I gotta say, not sure the coyotes would do too well if they didn't have Mike Smith

CaptOblivious wrote:nice on getting tickets to a playoff game that would be awesome. and yeah the pens game the goalies just seem to be for show right now but they need to take 16 more shots during the game and then i should get another hat trick. also booyeah Devils won 1 down 3 more to go to advance

Giroux got me lots of points in the two fantasy leagues too tonight. Hopefully tomorrow will bring more hockey awesomeness! Anyone around to console the Canucks fans?

I wish we'd gone to a movie tonight too

mooyagi wrote:Here, let me be the good guy here for once. The Bruins lost the first two games of their playoffs last season at home and went on to win the cup.

KDibildeaux wrote:Coyotes lost in overtime and had been winning until 5 seconds left in the third period. WTF??????? Also, one of the Blackhawks wacked Mike Smith (goalie for the coyotes) hard in the face. For a while it looked like he was out but he toughed it out. Wouldn't be surprised if he has a concussion or something.........

mooyagi wrote:Yeah, I'm expecting a Shanaban for that one. Looks like Smith got whacked in the head on that one. Sucks they didn't win but that was a lot of fun. Nothing like live playoff hockey! Some fat bitch Blackhawks fan looked like she was trying to start a couple of fights in the lower level after Chicago scored the overtime winner. She wasn't successful.

4) who would have thought a 22 year would get into a goaltending duel with Tim Thomas, that kid has played awesome and most of the time it looked like his team was as well

The Sens/Rangers game was a rager!!
Old Time Hockey!!
Lots of head shots though. I hate dirty shit like that. What's more sad, is that it's Canadians doing the cheap shots--not just dirty Europeans!
We weren't raised to play like that.
