It really is. I'm going to start drinking green tea more often and see how that works out for me. I don't really have the time to up my exercise, I'm already doing a lot.

yeah the first 10 lbs are easy, then after that water weight is all gone and you have to lose actual fat, things slow down! the cruise is 2 months away! i'm so glad there are rad people out there who don't mind a little meat on a broad! i would never want to be skinny, that's just NOT acceptable for a beast, but a trimmer beast would be great.

I need to loose weight before the cruise....I drink too much beer and travel too much for my job, which is my problem. I think after this week, I will cut way back and hit the gym hard. I lost about 20 lbs in Iraq last year and i have put it all back on.

all the weight i lost for the cruise last year came back on. unfortunately i don't believe i can lose more than another 10-12 lbs before the cruise, but whatever, i'm still going to rock the hell out.

If only the girls cared about how they looked and felt good about themselves, instead of caring so much about how man (and more so sometimes, other women) thought about them

i only care how my clothes fit and how i feel. i definitely need to trim a bit to just feel more comfortable, but other than that, MEH. men don't care half as much, so i don't even worry about that!

I tried the no food diet, but it was really hard and I gave up.
So I will show up at the cruise flabby and nice.

Might do some cardio though, in case all 19 elevators
on the ship stops working and we have to use the stairs.

I'm trying the no food (carb) diet, it works wonders if I stick to it... but I love chocolate and carbs way too much! I keep falling off the wagon.

This cold/flu thing gave me the perfect excuse to skip the gym the past week but Saturday morning I'm determine to get back and do a double class

No anything diets don't work. Your body needs everything in moderation. Giving up on carbs completely seems bogus to me because carbs are fuel. My policy to diet nowadays when I'm not drunk is to stick to more natural foods as much as possible. Stay away from overly processed foods and eat as much variety as possible to get the best nutritional profile possible. Salads have been a staple for me not because they are low call but because I can load them up with a bunch of different ingredients so I get a plethora of vitamins and nutrients and good calories from them.

I say when not drunk because when I've been drinking profusely this policy goes to shit and I order pizza and wings at midnight.

Ok, maybe I should have said low carb, I still allow myself sweet potato and some carbs now and again, I just try to really limit it as much as I can… I'm going operation radical diet until after the cruise and then I will do it properly.

I HATE salad with a passion, I just can't eat it and even if I do make one it's dead by the time I get to work. I also hate cooking, it's so boring and it never works out, my food taste like crap. So basically now I stick to vegetables and some meat (not too much).

I think once I can give up chocolate (it's all or nothing when it comes to chocolate, I can't use it as a treat and have it in moderation), I will find it easier to lose weight.

Less than 2 months to go it seems so close yet so far away!

The gym on the ship was ok but really small, I ended up doing pullups on the stairs outside and hoping nobody stepped on my fingers if they were coming down. At one point I looked like an idiot because I stepped outside thinking it made sense that there was an outside "track" level beside the gym, so I stepped out and starting running around the corner, only to run into a wall.

Lucky. I get shit faced drunk every couple weeks and it makes it extra hard playing catch up afterwards before I can actually work on losing weight again.
