"I wonder if I should run around aimlessly?" is much simpler in Finnish: "Juoksentelisinkohan?".
And they say Finnish is a difficult language.

Probably only Finns need to ask that regularly, so they had to invent a word for it

Actually the same kind of wording could be used for, say, "I wonder if I should puke around aimlessly?" too ("Oksentelisinkohan?").

In the running case, the verb is juoksennella (to run around without a specific direction); juoksentelen would be "I'm running around aimlessly"; juoksentelisin "I would run around aimlessly". Easy.

    And the past tense juoksentelin?

The ko at the end I guess is the question suffix, does that mean that "han" is the wonder part? Can you add it to any verb?

Yes, juoksentelin is the past tense. "Han" is mostly just an suffix that has no actual relevance in the word, so juoksentelisinko would have roughly the same meaning. "Han" mostly just means a sort of puzzlement or uncertainty; in some cases it might have other meanings like in an argument ("yes it is" "no it isn't" "yes it IS" -> "on" "ei ole" "onhan") it reflects that you already stated some fact and are now forced to repeat it.

This doesn't make your Finnish studies any easier.

At least I never expected it to be easy :? But every time I think that I've started understanding how the language works, something comes up and make me doubt that again ;)

Yeah, seems like most of our grammar rules are more like guidelines, and there are always lots of exceptions to every rule.

Guess they didn't like MC's performance much either ;)

Twisted Sister kicked everyones butts though, holy hell that man can still sing!!

Pretty much a standard Motley show of today. Motley is only in it for the money and they make no apologies about it.

Dee Snyder and the boys are kind of having a re-birth for they have been getting really favorable reviews. :bangers:

Agreed. I saw them on the Cruefest tour a couple years ago and they were actually really good. Honestly, it was the best crowd singing I've ever seen on "Life Is Beautiful". Even better than Blind Guardian, which I would cry heresy for someone saying if I weren't there.

Agreed. I saw them on the Cruefest tour a couple years ago and they were actually really good. Honestly, it was the best crowd singing I've ever seen on "Life Is Beautiful". Even better than Blind Guardian, which I would cry heresy for someone saying if I weren't there.

I have yet to see them live or listen to their second album but I really like the first one :D

I think they only toured the one time. I never listened to the second album either. I guess I should do that at some point, but there's way too much good metal out there that needs listening to.

After having an overnight layover in Houston and actually leaving the airport I have confirmed that I never want to live in a hot and humid place. At least Tucson heat isn't sticky
