I'm from right here in Miami, so all I gotta do is drive to the port and get on the boat

Thus far, I know a few other people from here who will also be attending, and I'm still trying to convince a few more, so we'll see.

I'm gonna do my part to help set up some kind of Pre-show at one of the local venues before the cruise as a nice warm up for the main event.

They have WASP playing there in a few weeks and Cannibal Corpse will be returning in May

Awesome dude! When I went on that Skynyrd cruise in 2008 we had a Pre party at the Sheraton-Miami Mart and I got so shitfaced that I fell in the pool with all my clothes on, did not spill a drop of my beer either. Because I am a professional drinker.

In terms of locals, Saq was already on my list along with Thrash Or Die and probably Mendacity. I plan to have this coordinated between the Culture Room and the organizers of the cruise in case they perhaps want to have one or more of the cruise bands to perform or maybe another bigger name band that is NOT on the cruise, with the aforementioned locals rounding out the bill. Plenty of time to figure it out.

As for Aghora, they're not really in a position to do any live shows, seeing as Santiago is the only one that lives in Miami (bass player in the Carolinas and drummer in Texas), and they have no singer. Although they are supposedly working with a male singer for the next album, so you gotta wonder what that's gonna be like after having a female vocalist for the other two.

shame about Aghora. I think Thrash or Die are horrible, but they draw a crowd. Anyway, enough of the segway.
