WOW! Awesome!

Nothing specific. We just decided to go up there in part for a belated celebration of Erik and Nicole getting engaged and just hanging out, too. Haven't seen them or Debb since the cruise!

Sunday: sleeping. If I can go the entire day without putting on pants, it will be a successful day.

We have no idea. I figure if we get bored, we can go to downtown Phoenix and incite a riot.![]()

It was awesome having an Arizona forum meetup. Hopefully it will happen more often.

Work should approve sending me to that conference in Phoenix again, so in February let's do it!
Maybe you can make it down to Tucson.

Well, a hot tub is like a vacation in your very own back yard

I'm going to Boston tomorrow and coming back Sunday. Should be a nice, short trip.

I love Boston! What's bringing you there?
Lazy weekend for me. No plans.

salexa wrote:@mooyagi -- My friend and I randomly decided that a short weekend trip to Boston would be fun. I'm leaving tomorrow morning and driving there. It'll be fun. I still honestly have no idea what we're doing -- we're planning this very last minute. I haven't been to Boston in quite a while.

salexa wrote:@Laura -- that sounds like a ton of fun. Always fun to get into new stuff. I got really into UFC a few years ago and now I'm addicted. I guess I really like stuff where there is a high likelihood of bodily injury. Roller derby is probably right up my alley. (Thanks for the welcome, btw!).
When are you coming through in October? The weather should be nice then. Not too hot. I hate it when it's too hot -- it just gets so damn muggy and humid and the subway is a nightmare in the heat. Especially if your subway car has no AC. The MoMA is great, although I really love the Metropolitan Museum of Art more. It's just your preference. The NY Historical Society is great too, but they often have renovations so I wouldn't head up there unless you know for sure things are open. Also worth checking out is the Metropolitan Opera House - I love the Met. It's so nice.
I haven't been to the 9-11 Memorial. I still don't want to go to it. Maybe one day I will. Not now, though. I've heard it's really well done, though, and worth a visit if you are so inclined.
