Man, especially when I'm standing outside of the pit on purpose so I can actually watch the band (Imagine that, haha), and some stinking, shirtless drunk dude comes up, starts pushing, unintelligibly grunting, and spilling beer around.. that pisses me off. Guys like that are going to the sharks on the cruise.

I agree, I've had a few drunk assholes ruin my day at shows.

The problem is not drinking itself, but getting drunk and boring.

I was at the Chicago Rock Fest a few years ago and I was sitting on the ground along with a few thousand other people and some drunk bastard picked me to throw up on.....all over my back....it was disgusting, ruined my day.

Not all people assholes when they are drunk.
Regardless of what people say, if you are drunk 99% of the time you are aware of what you are doing.
Those drunk assholes at gigs etc for the most part deliberatly cause shit because the know they can use the 'Sorry i was drunk or don't remember' excuse.
    There are exceptions however.
Some people however should never drink whiskey as it causes the Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde syndrome. It fucks up their mind and makes a normally nice person get really agreesive.Over here it's known as 'The whiskey rage'
    And lol at Metal hugs.

I've noticed it more with tequila than anything else. That stuff should be classified as a hallucinogen as opposed to a depressant lol

It's a bad idea to drink it when you're already wasted and been drinking all day long.

I was thinking more like $200 a day for alcohol (don't forget to tip your bartenders and waitresses) If your going to be on a metal cruise why NOT drink? It's not like you have to drive anywhere. As long as you can crawl back to your cabin without falling off the ship your fine. :beerwink: [/quote]

The only tip the bartender/waitress is going to get is the one when we hit a wave and the boat tips slightly. Tips are included in the price of the cabin.

Oh and I am not one into fighting and am a "happy drunk" but I DO get pissed off when I am out of the pit trying to watch a band and some drunk shirtless sweaty arsehole rams into me and spills my beer. My beer are like my first born and so I usually fly into a rage and either push down the dude as hard as I can, or chase after him after I break my beer bottle over a chair.

That last part was a joke people (from "fly into a rage" forward)

I have been called a teddy bear by people that I meet in person that I met online. They ALWAYS tell me that I am nothing as they had pictured.

Note to self: Don't bump into Tom C if he's carrying a full beer.

I only broke a glass once. And that was by accident.Bumped into an unoccupied table when drunk and the empty botle knocked over.
A lot of beers and a bottle of Buckfast will do that you.Anyway they told me to get out and i just left nice and calmy.
Although it's not as such a bar. They don't serve drinks there anymore. You pay for a membership and they give you a bag and you can bring in as much as your own booze as you want with you.All you gotta pay is like 5 euro to go in every time.

I think the better question is who will get cut off first, on the first day?

Don't think I will have the money to let myself have that much fun, but I am sure someone will!

I am cursed with wicked hangovers and found out on our last cruise that a rolling ship makes it REALLY intolerable. Lesson for me, DRINK but avoid hangover at all costs while at sea. Hopefully the Caribbean will be glass smooth as opposed to the Pacific... :trashdrink:
