New Year's Resolutions

Okay, admit it. Who already broke theirs?

Mine is to try and be more open minded with metal genres I usually don't get into. Perhaps go to a few death metal shows, or buy some doom CDs for instance. Try to expand my metal horizons.

I consider my first new year's resolution ever: cutting down on drinking - no jacks anymore, just beer and wine
but I don't make such a decision while hung over

Fully support those who make these resolutions and give serious props to those who succeed with them. I firmly believe that anyone going on the cruise and considering a resolution involving food or alcohol consumption should really just start a tradition called February Resolutions or not bother at all.

like two years ago, I started applying "rules" - and you can't add a new one when you're still not living up to the previous rules
the first was 'eating slower' and the second one 'no more excuses' - I'm still dealing with the last one

I don’t do resolutions because I would just forget the resolution anyway , but I do like ShoreSlayer’s suggestion of a February resolution after the cruise.
Mine would start with returning for a Third Round.

I resolve to improve upon my performance of living up to last year's resolution to improve my life... I've done a decent job and have a nice groundwork laid for bigger improvements this year! Hopefully getting out of Pittsburgh and furthering my improved overall fitness. It'd also ne nice if I could figure out a career I'd be happy to pursue.

Resolutions aren't crap, if you want to do something than do it, that's a resolution. the problem with new years resolution is people make them just because it's new years and then don't have the will to follow it through. I arbitrarily made a resolution in the middle of last week just because. Not sure if that counts as a new years resolution but I'm sticking to it!

I'm going to continue my resolution from last March/April in losing weight (which I've been doing well on until December came along and kicked my ass) and last week I decided to be less of a sarcastic prick. I'll still be sarcastic because that's the way I am, I'm just going to try and piss less people off
