^^^ thanks Erik!!! It was such a great way to end an already great night!! The Enslaved /Dimmu gig ended at 9:30 pm (all ages show) and the afterparty was at Chicago's legendary punk and rock club The Exit. http://www.exitchicago.com/ Sunday is always metal night and the guest dj's were the members of Enslaved

. The picture was taken there - that's fellow metal cruiser/Chicagoan/ forum member Matthew (nekrobarr) on the right, Enslaved's Grutle, me, and Dimmu's Galder on the left. (lol - Galder was a bit of a bonus for the picture - didn't realize he was standing behind me at the moment!)

Thanks all for your comments on the picture! What a magical night last night was! Dimmu Borgir and Enslaved both gave such incredible performances. And then talking briefly to Grutle later on at The Exit club was pretty surreal - the ultimate

I went to the show here in Rochester.. Was pelted with so much blood coundnt even take any pics!!!.. That was the sweetest show on earth!!!.... Love gwar! The had Sarah and lady gaga... Sooo loved that!!

16th b'day cake. Was huge into Ozzy around this time (Blizzard and Diary) and most likely out to get super drunk that night haha! Oh, and way to decorate the birthday cake with Christmas crap lol. Curse of the Sagittarian I tell ya

Grad 1984! Tuxedo and a case o' beer! What else does a guy need? It was all about Priest, Maiden and Sabbath by then. Slayer and Metallica were about 6 months away.

No idea of the song. Our school was ruled by the jock/preppy crowd so it would likely have been whatever was at the top of mtv/pop charts in the spring of '84. Cyndi Lauper, Prince, Madonna, maybe something from VH Jump? I think I was passed out in the parking lot by the time the dance was half over
