Here is a new addition to our family as of yesterday - an 8 week old whoodle puppy (wheaten terrier/poodle mix)....the little guy is just so cute I almost can't stand it!
More pictures to follow if I can get a picture of him with our 2 cats (who are being amazingly sweet around him!) No name yet although my daughter (holding him below) likes Oliver (Ollie for short) and I like Honey Bear.

I gave my dog wasabi a few times tonight. It was so funny. I gave him the smallest little bit at first and he didn't do anything, so I gave him a little bit more, and then he sneezed a lot. Then he started making hilarious faces when I just put it near his nose!
And then he got mad and started barking at me. Game over

Ha - I'm off of work today since I work Saturday - and currently living by my aunt Adelaide's motto - "Anything but housework." (hate housework and I've got a ton to do  )

Anyway - before I finally get to that - here are some recent pix of our new Whoodle (Wheaten terrier/poodle) dog Oliver, who has grown from 6 pounds when we got him nearly 3 months ago to 16 pounds! (should be around 30 pounds full grown) Love this dog - we are all really crazy about him! My 12 year old also just won a tiny goldfish at a carnival over the weekend who she named Rigg (after a character in a book called Pathfinder she's reading) - she is so thrilled about that tiny fish - cracks me up!

My mom has 3 cats and 3 dogs, but my only pet now is a raccoon that occasionally sits around on the deck at night and likes eating deli meat out of my hand. Cute, fat little guy.

SUPER CUTE!! Does Ollie like getting baths? Our dogs seem to tolerate them and are cooperative for the most part.

We brought our furry kids with us to Chicago for "Doro Day". We stayed at the Hotel Allegro downtown. The room rate was very reasonable for downtown Chi-town ( 2 nights ended up being $350 after taxes and fees.. parking is always a bitch, though) and they do not have a size limit or a limit to the number of pets. You can also leave your pet(s) unattended in the room.
Wasn't sure how it was all going to go down... the big guy is "energetic" to say the least... but it was a surprisingly pleasant experience.

Next time we're in Chicago, maybe we can have a "puppy play date"

Love that picture of Mere and the fur-covered kids. I still can't believe there is a downtown hotel that allows pets! Did they enjoy their vacation? Ollie is extremely patient getting a bath - he just sits there pretty calm with that expression....I think he gets kinda overwhelmed and doesn't know what to do besides sit there. That bath was from just a few days ago - I took him to a dog park nearby the house and he turned into:
    Image

It was kind of rainy/muddy out to begin with, plus there was a kiddie pool filled with water at the park which he got into followed by more mud, wrassling with other dogs, etc. He was a mess! Puppy play date sounds fun. :D

2012 - You never forget your first time. And MDB.
    Barge - Ruled. Period.
2015 - Booked early, soft lineup.
2016 - Awesome. Best lineup since Barge.

I've never been to a foam party, but they were really popular when I was in high school. I had a friend who cleaned up after foam parties and she would find used condoms and crack pipes and all sorts of awful stuff under the foam

2012 - You never forget your first time. And MDB.
    Barge - Ruled. Period.
2015 - Booked early, soft lineup.
2016 - Awesome. Best lineup since Barge.
    2018 - Great time.
    2021 - Hypocrisy or bust.
