Spider bites normally do not itch but can be painful.
Bee, Hornet, Wasp, Ant?

We have so many mosquitoes in northern Alberta that I have developed an immunity and no longer get bumps and get itchy from their bites.

How to Guide: How Canadian men attempt to pick up women.

When you visit a girl at her work, do you bring her:

A) Flowers
B) Poutine

Apparently the answer is B. True story  Sad part is, I imagined how much Kevin would get a laugh out of that one at the time. Thank goodness he doesn't travel in off course too much these days

And right after that he goes on "...Dave was 15 yards away...". And while I can understand 16m meaning 16 meters (16 m), 55M makes no sense. Ran for 55 million meters, minutes, what? Maybe Witch Bear had a T-55M tank nearby and ran for it?

Yes, switch to the metric system.

Well, looks like I fell victim to hypocrisy once again. Some waitress from a few days ago had recommended to me a book called "50 Shades of Grey". Apparently, it's very popular so some of you may know of it. I wanted to know what I was getting into so I went online and the premise instantly repulsed me. However, through my research, I found a website called "Smart Bitches, Trashy Books". Ignoring the swathes of pink, I checked it out, and a few links later, found myself looking into an article about why people love the dreaded "Paranormal Romance" books. I had always thought it was just an army of writers trying to ride on Stephanie Meyer's dreaded coattails, but it turns out that fans of that stuff like it for the same reason I like Metal, Videogames, and fantasy: Because the real world is too familiar and just isn't interesting enough. After finishing that article, I felt like every shallow person who has ever rolled his/her eyes the minute otherworldly fiction got mentioned. Life sure is complicated. :?
