I think I need to watch that movie. I probably would eat snails, hell, I love oysters and I would imagine the textures being somewhat similar.

That's the problem. They never have what I want. I have the disc option too and that has pretty much everything but by the time I get a movie in the mail I'm not in the mood to watch that one anymore.

That is true. I definitely fault the studios more than Netflix for issues with the streaming library, but it still annoys me as a consumer. Wish both sides had better negotiators. Same thing with cable companies vs tv networks. I almost always side with the cable companies in those disputes. The networks are the problem.

I'm a bit confused today. I recently got a new device for listening to my iPhone music in the car, but it required an auxiliary input in my car. I've been to 2 Radio Shacks. One person said there's an adapter but they don't have it, and another person said no such adapter exists . Do any of you know a way I can get an auxiliary port for my car without replacing the radio?

For Ipod I highly recomend getting an FM transmitter. It'll keep your ipod charged and sounds fine, and u usually wont have issues with other people using the same frequency as you as a lot less people use them these days.

That was going to be my last resort option. I currently have one, but it's old and needs to be replaced. It hardly ever plays both speakers at the same time unless I have it plugged in just right, and then I make a turn or hit a pothole and it's back to just one speaker (real annoying with songs that divide the instruments between speakers). Still, I guess you are right. Static hasn't been as bothersome as it used to be. If I had access to both speakers again, I could probably drown it out. I'll check to see how expensive a new radio is and then maybe I'll consider just getting a new FM transmitter.

Yeah, a lot of times the cable wears out so one side at a time would go. That's when it's time to replace them. I find they generally last a year.

I've seen rage quits, bannings, knock down/drag-outs and other assorted things on forums & such, but have never seen someone's posts entirely disappear. It strikes me as the kind of thing that would only happen if the person requested that the mods do a global delete of their posts (and I can think of at least a few scenarios where one might want to do just that), although I know someone who requested this in another forum and they were denied. I'm not jumping to any conclusion of why this happened in this case, because we simply don't know. Very, very odd nonetheless. Just really hope all is well with gnoff.

he requested to be removed, he wasn't banned, he just felt he was spending too much time on the computer and he has a lot going on right now. it was his choice and he is taking a break from forums and even sending less emails. he just moved yesterday and didn't want to be distracted with online stuff.

i tried to talk him out of the full delete, but he insisted that he needed to do that for himself. change was in effect since Monday. he'll be missed!
