I see. I'm also not crazy about super hairy dudes, but some chest hair is fine. Back hair on the other hand...........

Ok, just a little little little chest hair may do, and yeah, men have hair on the legs, but besides that.. it's a no go! :P

I don't mind guys with hairy chests. It can be kind of sexy depending on the guy. Back hair however is never sexy
I dated a guy who shaved his nipples and the top of his feet.

Cool - we're talking about hairy chests on men now? I like (a lot! :P ) Seriously, I think hairy chests and abdomens on some men can be REALLY sexy....although hairlesss chests can be awesome too. Take Terji of Tyr for example...he looks great both ways....(although both of the below are of the former :P )

Yeah, it's such a shame that he cut his hair  He's still a good looking guy, but he looks so serious now.

Btw I don't like body hair either. I remember I had a boyfriend many many years ago that had a very hairy chest and he wanted me to play with his hair... Yuck!
I'm glad Fredrik has a totally hairfree chest :D

Why thank you ma'am! :heavydrink: That means a lot!

I just love that sleeping (ha - perhaps passed out?) pic of him - looking super vulnerable and pouncable there. :P

Anyway - if a guy naturally had little or no chest hair, I certainly wouldn't hold it against him or be necessarily less attracted to him. And since I also find hairy chests attractive, I would never expect or demand a guy to shave their chest hair unless they really wanted to. I think the amount of hair on Terji in that pic is kinda perfect - VERY sexy imo. Ha - body hair... If there ever was a subject that calls for the saying TEHO - it's this one!

i think everyone's different - i have seen pics of the chests of Sean Connery and Burt Reynolds growing up, and plenty of men on movies and tv from the 60s- 70s...but the men in my family weren't hairy so i wasn't used to seeing hairy guys in person, and i never really dated hairy guys except for 2 guys...so perhaps i'm just not used to it? never liked it. but i'm not sure it's an age thing, it's not like i want a guy to remove a bunch of hair, just when i see a pic of a hairy dude i'm not into it. but i wouldn't try to make a guy change if he was naturally that way.

that being said, i'm sure as a whole our western world has moved towards less hair being the standard for attractiveness.

but i actually love long hair and beards. just not hairy chests LOL.

that being said, i'm sure as a whole our western world has moved towards less hair being the standard for attractiveness.

but i actually love long hair and beards. just not hairy chests LOL.

I think there are certainly degrees of hairy-ness (I'm talking specifically chest and stomach area atm) on guys that land somewhere on each person's turn-on/turn-off scale. Funny you mentioned Burt Reynolds - I always thought he had a bit too much chest hair - same with someone like Tom Selleck - although theirs leans more toward my "turn-off" zone probably because it's very, very dark as well (I prefer lighter overall although not absolutely necessary)

Ha - this is a fun and funny conversation we're all having here. It made me take yet another stroll down memory lane in my mind today thinking about the men I've dated :trashdrink: and the varying degrees of body hair. And, not surprisingly - there was a great deal of variety. :P :beerwink:

And, I agree with you Rhia, I've always loved long hair if the guy happens to have it (certainly not a requirement for overall attractiveness/sexiness however.) :P Also crazy about beards and mustaches.... but mainly the close cropped kind. (although I must say, gnoff, that yours is very nice as far as longer beards go. :P )

Sorry if these pix gross out the ladies who prefer hairless chests and such on men - but here are more examples of HOT (to my eyes and mind at least...is he like such a hunka, hunka burnin' love or what?? Yum, yum, yum.)

Hey, don't you be dissing my favorite activity now. :P (and I realize that was a joke comment, unlike your Marlo/Jake comment - hey, nothing much surprises me anymore round here! )

But seriously, forum folks (and especially readers of this thread), you all know I've made no secret about the fact that I'm married and the thought has occurred to me that some might wonder why I've posted so much on a thread like this. I'll just say that I have a very over-active "imagination" - something in general I don't think should be threatening in the least to a solid relationship - actually I think it's a VERY GOOD, healthy, and positive thing. I imagine there may be a difference of opinion on this point though too. TEHO. :beerwink:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure married people/people in relationships spend a lot more time in these threads than the rest.
