Yea I would need that to double to cover the next cruise. But it will nicely cover a deposit on an apartment :D

I'll try and make this short. I had this mp3 player that I absolutely LOVED. 100 hours of battery life, 160GB memory, open source, all sorts of cool shit. Anyway, it had this battery issue where if you drain the battery completely empty, it won't recharge and the software won't recognize when it's plugged in. I knew this when I bought it, and neglected it and let the battery empty one day. Thing died, never recharged, screen stayed black for months. Tried everything...except one thing:

Today my coworker recommended that I break it open and remove the battery, and buy a new battery online. I figured I would wreck it doing this, but I couldn't lose. The mp3 player was broken either way
Well, I did wreck it. It's held together by tape right now. BUT (and here's the awesome part) after I removed the battery (had to cut some wires to do so) and plugged in the mp3 player, the software recognized that it was plugged in AND THE SCREEN LIT UP FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE LAST JULY. Rewired all the shit I cut, taped the stupid thing back together, plugged it into my computer, and I'm transferring music back on it :D :D :D :D :D

It might be a Frankenstein mp3 player, but it LIVES! MWahahahahaha!

As much as I would LOVE to have the exact same cabin mates as I did for the last cruise (I miss Rachael, Rob and Valentin  ) I have a strong feeling that if any of them do the cruise again next year, it won't be Barge to Hell.

My rejoice? I'm getting a running start on trying to have my cabin mates ready to go and arranged. Already have two confirmed, one to go :deathhorns:

Solution - do 70K again! AND BTH! :viking:

I just put the finishing touches on my updated resume', and will hopefully spend a boatload of my next offweek scouring the interwebs for jerbs. Crossing my fingers...

Oh man I wish, especially since I KNOW there are going to be some bands booked on 70K that will break my heart that I won't be seeing on there. Was considering a part time job again to pull that off but considering spring/summer is just around the corner I'll probably be working a ton of overtime (especially if my manager keeps on running my department into the ground - had three other funders tell me last week that if any more bullshit they are quitting/they are already looking at different jobs  ).

Good luck job hunting Matt! Are you looking for more night shift type work?

That's awesome!
