On the gray hair topic, must admit I have a bit of a double standard when it comes to men vs. women and gray hair. As I've said, I really like gray hair on some men, but can't say I like it on women generally. Thank god I've only had a few gray hairs so far, so haven't had to mess with major hair dyeing (yet). The highlighting I do is only about three times a year, so that's cool.
i'm with you! this Wizard colors her hair blond to blend the ass-tronomical amount of white that has grown in! we gray early as hell in my family, got my first ones at 20 and more and more grow in every day. i'm probably 1/3 gray at least. and no, i will not have my natural color ever UNLESS it all turns white (that would actually look ok i think, but not shitty ashy light brown with white mixed in). So for now, Lilla Freddi blond it is.

would not have guessed you had any white or gray hair! Well, the way you do your hair looks great! And lol on the Lilla Freddi comment (who I assume to be Uncle Soda). I have a couple of women friends who started to go gray in their 20s. Like I said, I only have gotten a few gray hairs here and there....so when I get more to the point that it's really noticeable, I'll decide what to do then re how I'm going to deal with it/dye it. I suspect I'll always have it blond or blondish. I never really thought much about my hair color until I started experimenting with coloring it in my 20s....then I just didn't want to go back to my somewhat mousy dark brown hair (even though I have now and again). For a brief time, I had Doro's hair color (solid not highlights), and I absolutely loved it, but it was way too hard to keep up with roots-wise.
....ramble, ramble, rambleI could talk about hair, and beards and mustaches all day.
Speaking of beards, I'm really liking that image of your Nick looking wizardly and gnoff looking Santa Clausy in the future. So, methinks we'll all have to make plans to hit up a UMC cruise in the distant future to see how everyone has changed.

funny turnabout! enjoy your 420 time this week. i find it's so much less destructive than drinking on so many levels...so silly that it has the stigma it has in this country and elsewhere (except the netherlands LOL)

I agree on all counts. Here's a bitch though... who had the bright idea of creating such potent pot that you can only smoke about 2 hits?... a big part of the whole experience for me when I was a frequent smoker from about age 16-28 with friends was the whole communal pass the peace pipe (or Graphix bong or joint or whatever the case may be) aspect. Damn...if husband and I had smoked the amount in the last week that we did in our pothead days, I think we'd be comatose or dead.![]()
Perhaps that is why one hears of more people having bad lifestyle changes due to getting high regularly these days?? In short, stronger isn't necessarily better in my view. Haha - I need to find a dealer who sells or grows 70s/80s style pot.![]()
On a similar note, this is partly why I prefer to drink more watery, less strong beer.

It's really great! Good luck with the future recordings and hittin' the big time.

yeah same here. i've never really seen weed screw up someone who was TOTALLY NORMAL before....they already had issues.

, especially if one has a negative attitude about it from the get-go. My point is that it's not the evil "Reefer Madness" Boogeyman that some people make it out to be.

Hey, thanks a bunch for the support!![]()
We have no real anticipation or desire to hit the big time, but I'm hoping the album we're about to record will turn some heads!
One more thing Laura, I think you've got a pretty cool outlook on life. From what you've told me, your times in the 70s sound a lot like the stories my mom has told me about her life during that decade. I can imagine that if you guys had lived close you'd have been good friends! (Sorry if this is a weird comparison, but it's a good thing; my mom's a cool chick!)

Try not to eat his baby! If it's who I think it is, I can't really picture him as a father. Weird.

No, it's not him, if you're talking about who I think you are (Thank god. I don't think I could bear to be around the two of them with a baby running around). No need to worry, I don't eat babies. Maybe I can get someone else from the forum to do it for me. I made sure to pick out a place where loud babies won't be an embarrassment. Then again, maybe it'll be a quiet one this time. I've been forced by my family (or at least strongly encouraged) to keep my sentiment towards babies to myself. Still, I am not going to pretend to adore it either.
That aside, this finally gave me the chance to see what Downtown Crossing has to offer dinner-wise.
