The place ran out of booze for cryin' out loud
It was like a family reunion but w/o fighting - saw boys and gals from Dark Tranquility and Cripper as well brothers and sisters from various chapters around the globe. We, Canucks, were well represented as well.
A big thank you for organizing this meet and, a I'll see ya all at the real reunion in a few short hours.

A long, long while back, I was thinking it would be interesting to have something like a Forum Panel to talk about some of the greatest memories of the broad and interactions between forumites. Like the top 5 posters or something. I actually mapped out kind of a script to keep things rolling and funny, but then I scrapped the idea for some reason. I'm sure I still have all the ideas and questions, but I'd have to locate it. Wouldn't have to be long, and if there are bands, it seems like something you could do between them. Of course, this puts a lot of pressure on people who may not want to do it.

That wasn't my original thought, but now that you mention it, it would be cool if we could get Andy up there, and we could grill him on the whole booking process, so that we have a better understanding of what to expect for future cruises.

Yeah, that really awesome cover band. They were all like 14 and the singer sounded awesome!

It depends on the bar. Some allow minors in and some don't, especially after certain hours, regardless of parental supervision, designated driver status, etc.

Pittsburgh, most places don't card teenage girls... cops here still aren't strict about DUI/OUI/DWI either... I consider it to be a serious problem, but this is a booze obsessed city so my 2 cents don't count for much here

I dont remember, I was super drunk like...the entire time from Vancouver to Whitehorse. I went to like 3 or 4 clubs in downtown Calgary and a wine cellar, 1 bar and Mead Hall in Edmonton. I definitely got carded at MH, I remember that. My guy friend got carded everywhere. Oh I also didn't get carded at most liquor stores.

The only times I've been carded in recent memory is when a new girl started working at the liquor store, and at the noctis festival last weekend because this is the first time it's not all ages.
