On the other hand you need time to get beer too.

Swashbuckle are enough Pirate Metal. IMHO
What is Pirate Metal anyway? I don't call this a genre, like I don't call "Viking Metal" a genre.
Metalwrath wrote:To me there is and always will be only one pirate metal band and that is the legendary RunningWild.
As for Swashbuckle i will be making sure to avoid them.If anybody else feels the same way they're welcome to join me for beers
Rayzor wrote:I'm an old guy and my tastes in Metal are quite broad, so it will be easier to sum up what I would not like to see on the cruise:
1) Rap.
2) Anything like Rap no matter how heavy the band is.
3) Bands where the singer sounds like he is throwing up with every word.
I don't care much for bands that refuse to put a guitar solo in a song either, but they tend to be included in one of the above. Anything along the lines of Helloween, GammaRay, Blind Guardian, Metal Church etc. is my preference. I like female fronted bands, Warlock and Girlschool would be on the top of that list for me. I also like some progressive, Symphony X and Tad Morose would be cool.
Metalwrath wrote:Have always wanted to see Tad Morose play.
I've heard he's really hard for musicians to work with though ....
He just quit being in Bloodbound yet again![]()
Hopefulyl he will stick with something and we'll see him on tour.
