Hey! I'm a few minutes down the road from you in Bellinghell. (Depending on the day of the week, I also live in the Seattle area) Hello!
Anka wrote:What's a creepy thing I can say when I see you that no stranger should know and will weird you out that I do?
Or i might have my magic stick with me. Rocked my magic stick for the first time at an Infernal Majesty w/ Corpsegrinder show a few months ago and i think my magic stick should be on board with me.
I know exactly who you are! (How's that for creepy stranger?) I SAW you and your stick at that show! ~ Although, I have to admit, you'll have to remind me in person. It was the stick I kept seeing everywhere. Metal Goddess and I may have even met you? We met Mayo that night and I think you know him?
Fucking KILLER show, huh?

You might not have been around the forum long enough to notice the high amount of creepyness going on, but mentioning mermaid and magic stick like that, you might notice them soon

Yeah, but I have to be a dick and shit on your team every chance I get just cus. It's pretty much in the handbook for being a flames fan. You guys are doing quite well this season though and we weren't until a couple weeks ago.

ha. Well the magic stick is mostly specific to dance and rave parties so he promissed if I bring one to a metal show he would do a gangsta chain flip on stage for me. Which happened, but I was headbanging and didnt see it. However there a video of it hahaha. The stick became metal that night.
Thank you!mooyagi wrote:I know you've made quite a few posts before but welcome Mindcrime!
We are used to answering to eachother's name. I have freaked out her bosses few times. One time I was visiting her office and sitting in her seat. One of her bosses came up and try to give me some work to do. Another time I was waiting downstairs in the lobby and another one of them came up and started talking about work.gnoff wrote:Mindcrime wrote: My identical twin sister and I will be on the cruise together and we will probably be together most of the time- but if we aren't and you have met one or the other of us and run into the other one---- we are pretty used to that, freaking people out.
Used to work with one guy out of identical triplets, one more of them worked at the same company though not in my projects.
The third I didn't know at all, but he still lived in the same city.
Whenever I met one of them walking around town I just said "hey" not knowing which of the three it was

What first got you into metal?
Actually a pretty interesting story. I listened to all types of music growing up (rap, pop, metal, grunge, indie), you name it I listened to it. I never really identified with one genre of music. 4 years ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to have brain surgery. After my surgery I became addicted to metal, I could not stop listening to it. To this day there is always a song in my head. My doctor told me that this was a side effect from having a big piece of my brain removed. I guess my brain has now formed an emotional connection to music, but only metal. I couldn't have asked for a better side effect.

Wow! was it a benign tumor? Someone I've known most of my life has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and has had surgery, but no one is really expecting him to pull through. So far most of the cases of brain tumors I've heard of have not ended well. Sorry to pry, it's just really amazing to hear your story. Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Castroh wrote:Thanks for welcoming me to the forum, I've actually been reading the posts for quite a while. Don't worry about prying, I don't mind talking about it since it worked out well for me. To answer your question, it was a benign tumor, but I had seizures for years and it was the only chance I had for a cure. I really hope your friend has a quick recovery. I completely understand how tough it is, because it took me almost 2 years to recover.
But enough about myself, I don't want to turn this forum into a sob story. That's definitely not my intention.
On a different subject, the wife and I don't know anybody on this cruise and we are hoping to grab a drink or ten with some like minded people. It'll be easy to spot me, I got the giant scar on my head.

We have Trivium and spawned a whole bunch of boy bands. But I easily offset all that garbage
