i vote for this and i actually want an extra day and NO MORE BANDS, 40 is enough!

Sorry. I got caught using the phrase "eh" soooo many times that I had to point out one of the American brethren doing it
I voted for as LONG as possible. I could have stayed on that boat for a month and it would have been tough to get me off!

I feel like we deserve (after proving ourselves on this one) something bigger, and now that people know it wasn't a scam, word of mouth shall spread the good news and I would say more people would want to come on this trip.

I respectful disagree. Bigger is not always better. I think it was the perfect size and scope. Not too many, not too few people. I didn't have to wait for anything, except for the doors to the Chorus Line Theater to open a few times.
Seems like most cruise ships all hold around the same general amount of people, unless you get one of the new "mega" ones.
But why dilute the experience when it was so awesome? I don't think more bands or more people would automatically equate to "more fun". Bigger usually means more $$$$. And anything that keeps the costs in line to keep our international brethren coming is good with me

Heabymetawhunta wrote:yes - 2000 people was just the right amount. I forgot who said this but i remember hearing "i've never seen so many drunk metalheads, and not one fight" i dont think that would be able to happen if more than 2000 people were on this boat. Small and intimate is the way to go.
mooyagi wrote:5 nights/6 days. Up the band count to 50 and shorten the show schedule each day to give more time for social events (metal related, of course) and sleep. If this past cruise was any longer I would've collapsed.
I think 80 bands wouldn't leave much cabin space for the fans to stay, eh? Wouldn't want it to get too much bigger. The intimate environment was a huge plus for me.

You really need to start rereading your posts before you hit "submit"
DragonLordJones wrote:i agree with kevinp ... bigger doesn't mean better. I didn't get to see everything I wanted this time so bigger means missing even more.
actually I think 30/40 bands, little longer sets, an extra day (or two) depending on number of bands ... couple special metal events.
