My firm belief is that if they (and Orphaned Land) were 100% contract signed on both ends, then they would be announced.
There must be some snags in the contract that are holding things up.

Remember the interview with Dani Filth ( I think that's who it was ) from last year that led everyone to believe that Cradle of Filth was going to be onbroad? They even played a show in Mexico that was the day after the cruise ended. I'm pretty sure that COF was 'supposed' to be onbroad in 2011, but things broke down during contract negotiation.

I believe that Cradle show was actually during the cruise. Dani also said they "might" play it which indicates they were in talks at the time but nothing had been signed. From what I've heard through the grapevine of the Primordial and especially Orphaned Land rumors is that they are in and just waiting for the formal announcement. Of course, this is all guessing but I do hope Orphaned Land make it on broad. Perhaps they are signed and are securing entertainment visas at the moment.

They don't announce Primordial and Orphaned Land (if they have them already booked) because they made us wait like 60 damn years for an announcement, it has to be something amazingly awesomely awesome and amazing like Black Sabbath from the 70's mixed with Priest from British Steel and Maiden from Powerslave or something like it.

I got to see them once with Kris, I really loved his voice on Grime vs. Grandeur, I think it's their best album other than the first one, but sadly he was another talented guy ( like Ripper, Blaze, etc ) who the average "fans" treated like shit cause he wasn't the "original or famous" singer

I think he was a decent singer, but what got me about Grime vs. Grandeur was that the band lost the Falconer sound in it. As a power metal album, it's quite good, but it's not a Falconer album to me. Mathias has a really special voice and he's a tough one to replace. Glad he's back (even though the newest album kinda sucks).

I wasn't a big fan of Chapters from a Vale Forlorn, wasn't heavy enough to counterbalance all the theater pomp, the first one still had that Mithotyn vibe and heaviness. The Sceptre of Deception got the heaviness back too, you are right Grime isn't all the theater but it's still Falconer, Northwind was too wimpy for me and was the last album I bought.

As someone who is big on vocals and lyrics, people might think this is odd for me to say, but Mathias isn't falconer, Stefan Weinerhall is.

Before Falconer existed, I was excited for it cause of Stefan Weinerhall riffs would be involved in a more traditional sounding band, he is one of the most unique sounding guitarists, since Steve Ramsey in my book. I also think that Mathis being back in the band has in some ways trapped Stefan Weinerhall into making riffs for his limited style. Grime felt free and exciting to me.

Jorn would be great, especially if he's onbroad with Masterplan. Although there doesn't seem to be much happening with Masterplan right now but that could be because Jorn has been touring quite a bit lately.
