Mission 1: find a wild boar in the praries of Canada..
Mission 2: Skin and eat said wild boar.
    Mission 3 : Fun-geneer a floatie from it's skin.

    This should be fun..

Witch bear probably has the same procedure for making children floaties..

I had a wild boar burger on Saturday at a pub here in Calgary, as well as a burger last month that had wild boar bacon on it at a steakhouse in Edmonton.
I must say, the best wild boar I've ever had was at a medieval mead hall in Stockholm. I would likely go back just for that (and the beaver soup!!)

hrmmm it definitely wasn't running down the streets like I had expected, but I found it in several places. I bought several big bottles of it in Denmark, and it seemed like a good handful of places in Sweden would serve it in pitchers with ceramic mugs like this:

If you are looking for mead in Sweden go to the bar called Sjatte Tunnan.
It's a medieval restaraunt/bar located on Gamla Stan in Stockholm.
They have a selection of about 10 different mead wines and they serve mead beer on tap.
One of the chefs used to play bass on tour with immortal.
The place serves medieval style banquets and plays mostly heavy metal and folk and medieval metal.
In the interior is really awesome too with old wooden benches and table and dim lighting.

At first, I read the title of this thread as "Special Needs on Ship".

...Then I come to find my 2 cabinmates trolling each other at the end of it, and you know -- Special Needs might be a better title, after all.

Nah. I was nowhere near drunk enough to do that on the night of the Finnish Invasion. Remember? We weren't the ones who were sloppy drunk.
This was at the convention in January. I don't remember it, but everyone tells me I got up, started yelling belligerently about going home to feed the cat, & then ran face first into the hotel room door & fell over. I'm a fucking champ. :trashdrink:

The puppeh is the cap'n, natch.

I'm more impressed by the fact that he broke the glass just by WALKING and not running into it. Is he a heavy set fellow? A pointy chin perhaps?

The screen is WORSE though! Not seeing the glass door is common cuz it's glass and if it's clean enough it can appear to not be there. But how do you not see black mesh? lmfao
