all this talk of all these finnish bands make me want good swedish death or something more progressive. i am not that into the finnish scene though i did loves me some Amorphis. the rest of those bands don't cut it for me. plus there are already a few finnish bands onbraod let's get some other shit!

Kalmah and Skyfire would be more special to me than Wintersun... but I could enjoy Wintersun almost as much.

Yeah Finland almost sucks as bad as Canada when it comes to metal (absent a few bands).

Tristania is from Norway, so the blood has already oozed forth. MADDER MORTEM (from Nord Odal) would be nice. They would fit nicely in the "what the fuck" category and everyone will bitch that Andy is booking shit/unknown bands.

That's what Justin (or maybe it was Shane) was telling me back in April when they came around with Skeletonwitch. They were a bit miffed about not being asked to do the first one, but said they had problems with their management which screwed their chances.

I don't think they would be too big. Not sure about that though. Certainly would be a large draw. I wouldn't be all wet and giggly about them but would be a cool show to see.

Yeah I'm hoping Kataklysm's guitarist being a bitch is just a cover too. Striker would b cool too but I don't think their big enough, they would be a filler band if they got booked. That's not to say that they aren't awesome

Dream Theater I think would be a headliner if they got booked, but definitely not too big. I don't think they are any "bigger" than Nightwish. I'd be pretty excited for them too.
