When bands are booked is one thing. When they are announced another. Contractual and marketing reasons.
As what the payment processor issue is concerned: It is beyond our control when the payment gateway provider has problems with the bank that runs the merchant account. And switching and setting up new payment solutions for such an operation is not so quick and simple then for a web store or when you have a shop or bar where people actually come and you swipe their card. Getting merchant accounts for high volume, setting up a gateway that works with virtual terminals in the call center etc. and have it all tested and secure is not just accomplished within a few days. In fact we have top professionals hired to assist us in that field, otherwise we would not be where we are. As mentioned in my previous post, we have a new payment provider and a backup solution. These last days we were running test to make sure it is stable and secure. So this will be up and running next week.
And about running such an event: Our production manager and our stage manager/crew chief are both veterans with decades of experience with large events and on the road. Staging, Lighting and Audio equipment is provided by some of the largest providers in the US.
Last but not least the artist's managers and agents know who we are and what we are capable of. I don't think they would book all these bands with us if they would not know for sure what we are capable of.
