Just so you guys know, in case people start getting pissed at your automatically playing videos, you can change it by making a little change in the code. Highlighted above you can see one of the attributes is Autoplay. Set that to 0 (zero) to stop it playing automatically.

If they are in the middle of sending out broading pass emails, I'm guessing they are a bit busy at the moment.

Not sure how much process has to go into an announcement, but I'm guessing something like:

- heaps of time to think of some witty and punny way to word it

- drafting up a press release and sending it to all the metal mags, websites, media outlets, etc
- update the forum
- update twitter
- update faceblog
- update the website

Think that would probably cover it. Not a huge amount of work, but certainly not instantaneous. So hopefully we'll start receiving our emails soon (oh most hated of four letter words), then we can start to hope for an announcement again.

Nah they probably have it set to update a few of these at once. At my work, we update twitter and it automatically updates our facebook and website and news feed. Pretty easy to set up.

I think you give them far too much credit

The website is really rudimentary, and other factors lead me to believe that their web development and administration skills are pretty basic. Also the wording of announcements usually are different from one medium to the next, leading me to believe they aren't automated. Hence why I think it would be a little time consuming
