Not bad.

Although I'm thinking that a band of their size might be a bit of a pipe dream. UMC can feel free to make me look clueless and contradict this though

Yes, I admit, I kind of liked them few years ago when this biggest hype was starting but last summer and specially one before that I think they were on almost every festival here in Finland + couple of their own gigs. Too much was too much and I can't stand 'em anymore. Besides their gimmick gets old very quickly.

About the latest announcements. Have to say, like 'em both. Been Nightwish fan since the first single in 1997 and it would be great to see Marco on board. Can't wait to have few drinks with him - it's been years from the last time. Also the possibility of having Tarot in some sort of line-up sounds good. And the darker side of me can't wait to see Dark Funeral live. Like 'em but haven't seen live

Motorhead has played small venues before, definitely smaller than the ship, so it's my dream and you're not gonna crap on it lol

sweeten the deal 1 show, Lemmy and the boys drink for free the whole cruise, and they're set up in the best suite on the ship

On another note, I've been thinking about sending the UMC office a little gift basket of appreciation. Filled with Kataklysm CDs and t-shirts of course....

I'm not really big into Kataklysm but they are one of the bands i predict wil be on the cruise

They headlined one of the nights at Progpower last year, and I think we made it through a grand total of 45 min of their set before we bailed. It's not that I don't like them, it's more that all their stuff just sounds the same to me. They seem like cool guys though, so I'm sure they'll be fun on the boat

I don't listen to Hammerfall that much but they are good live. When I heard I was more stoked about getting online and reading the bitchfest that I thought would ensue! Come on! I want some cancellation threats or something!

So.... Margie and I were talking on the phone last Saturday about all kinds of stuff and one of the things that came up was the recent pix she posted on the ladies thread.... and I'm like "who is the guy you had no caption for? He's kinda hot!"

And she's like - "lead singer of HAMMERFALL!!!!" OMG!!!

I think she is going to be very happy with this announcement as she is a big power metal fan - I don't know this band at all except for what I've read here, but I'll def. plan on catching a set with my roomie!

Isn't Metalwrath a big fan of this band? Oh - guess I could check his list.

Hands down this would be my favourite announcement....IF they were playing Glory to the Brave and Legacy of Kings in their entirety. As it is, I'll definitely catch the shows but it'll more of a watch from the hot tub arrangement than being up front.
