    LMAO@!ROB!!!!!!!!

I would sell it for a evening in my cabin with Simone from Epica,

If we find someone on 2012 who said "I paid 5 GILLION DOLLARS" we can expose the ass clown that profited!

I feel there will be a few veteran cruisers who are let down and also LEGIONS of first time cruisers who are going to be left behid. But I knew this would happen. Way back when I posted that we would get first dib on the next cruise because that is the way cruises work. :)

FYI- The way the other themed cruises out of Miami went was for example 2013 cruise- All faithful vets (meaning 2011, 2012) will get the FIRST round of Cabins and then the people who went in 2012 for the first time will be after that and then public (if they have any left)
    70K- 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 = 10th UMC cruise and black survivor status! Cabin-6218- Barge to hell -2012

So I logged in with my promo code a few hours after tickets went on sale to us, and I chose Interior N, but I haven't received a phone call yet. My question is, am I accounted for in the sold out N cabins now, or does the preference choice on the website really mean nothing, and I'll have to take whatever I can when I get a phone call? I wish they were open today, I'm in Vancouver and I was planning to just walk in with beer and my credit card.

Same story here, booked, waiting for confirmation, missed deck N, a little freaked out, impatient, it's a four day weekend. The Canucks got there ass handed to them two games in a row, maybe UMC gang is just in shock. Amorphis, Kiuas, Coroner, Motorhead, Doro, King Diamond, Overkill...

I was starting to worry a bit, so your answer sure helped me. I wanted to book right away, but I have slow friends who don't seem to understand that the cheapest tickets sells out fast.

But why the fuck do they start selling tickets two days before the Easter holidays, when they have to confirm every purchase?

I'll agree it's not the best timing although it worked out alright for me because the banks are not open until Tuesday. So that is the earliest I can make any sort of payment to them giving me time to get myself and my cabin mates organized. Of course paying with credit cards is probably a different story though.

random question, but if you're the guy in that picture...were you at Progpower when Pain of Salvation was playing, and kept singing "I want you to know I can't sleep anymore" during their soundcheck?

Jesus H Christ! You stay off the net for 2 days and posts explode up the ying-yang!!! (And no, I'm not drunk, I actually do talk like that when I'm sober).

I still haven't heard anything re: my booking, but I don't expect to get an email until at least Wednesday Oz time. And maybe not even then. It's awesome how fast the ship's filling with returns. Shows how awesome the whole thing was. Still crossing my fingers that certain peoples I know decide not to join us next year, though!!!!

it's fun to see the first page and then go straight ahead to last page. LOL

    I've seen 2 of the 7 bands:
    Eluveitie and Stratovarius

and ow well. i'll let andy surprise me with the other 33 bands (or more)
the small wishlist i have is only:

:viking: Heidevolk :viking: (i'll bet you didn't see that one coming LOL)
Amon Amarth, to re-claim the viking crown lounge
    Turisas

and for the brawl it would be fun to put alestorm and swashbuckle on 1 boat, see how that turns out LOL

Heidevolk is a definite favourite on my list. And I wouldn't mind to see Amon Amarth again.
Ofcourse we need a pirate band...so Alestorm is on my list. 2 pirate bands would be too much of it. But...place them both in cabins on deck 2 and you can be certain there will be pranks going on between the 2 bands. :P

Blake said he still had 1000 requests to process... I feel real sorry for the people that didn't get a "veteran code"

so they don't want to give new people the possibility to go on the boat?
I think thats really not a good promotion for the whole thing. Together with the higher prices...

well, I will stop here, otherwise I will loose my countenance.

and I still hope, that you're not right with this high number of requests.

It sucks for new comers but even if it were nothing but veterans its still GREAT for business.

When you've invented and bottled heavy metal oxygen, there's really very little need to worry about promotion.
So far at least, 2011, 2012 & 2015 were enough for me

Wow, and to think that the majority of those requests will be for full cabins. According to the site there are at least 260 cabins sold out already leaving no more than 890 cabins remaining (probably a lot less). It's starting to look like even some of the veterans won't be getting a place on broad. If that's true there won't even be a public sale...

My guess is that next year they will move to a bigger boat which will give other people a chance because they now know that they can sell 2000 tickets without a problem.

I just called, no answer. Sent an email, hopefully they'll get back soon. It just occured to me that I never checked my junk mail folder, but it isn't in there now. Does anyone know how long gmail holds things in the junk folder before deleting it? There is something in there from last monday so it should be fine. I'm freaking out

I think it's 100 % correct that veterans get to pick first. After all, we are the ones who dared to book our cabins last year for a serious amount of cash, even though a lot of us weren't sure that the cruise would take place or if it was a scam. They should have given all veterans just one promo code for one spot each though. We were three in one cabin this year and next year we are trying to book 2 cabins for 2 persons each. If many bookings look like that, there will be trouble for newcomers.
