I had to email Admin cuz I had some account issues and thought I'd ask about bands, not really expecting a response.

But this is the reply I got:
We do have some more bands already confirmed and will announce them over the next weeks. Just hang in there, we have some big surprises waiting for you...

I think apart from a few travel/accomodation/scheduling issues they probably know the entire lineup already. Isn't there a waiting list to get on already?

So then when they told us to "Prepare Your Wish Lists" was a totally crock then ? I'm guessing they know a good chunk, but schedules always change, bands change their minds, so I'm sure there is only "rough" partial list of confirmed bands (bot who the hell really knows).

Yeah, noone knows. I'm basing that on someone saying earlier (I think in this thread) that there was a waiting list to get onbroad.

Well, if the bulk of the bands have already been locked in (or if not locked in, at least 'penciled' in), they are being incredibly tight lipped about it.

Only 'leaks' so far were Therion before the first announcement, and Amorphis now, my dilligent web surfing has revealed no other bands blabbing that they will be on broad next year.

Curse it - who knew metal band members could be so tight lipped? :P

Probably some sort of red ink gag order. A couple of other bands have popped up but I think there's only 12 bands total that we "know" are going to be on. I think the waiting list thing came from someone saying that "a band that has a member on the forums that you are all familiar with is on the waiting list." (PS, it's not Viathyn, Atticage Rage maybe?)

I hope its a band featuring witchbear on drums and cookie monster on vocals. That would be the greatest. I'm gonna buy a bear that looks like that for my sister's kid

    YAY!!! BANDS!!!!

After greeting AMORPHIS and MOONSORROW on board and promising our Finnish friends that we will come back for more, we sailed across the Baltic Sea to Rostock, Germany where we dropped off a scouting party. Their first destination was Berlin... and from there they will go IN EXTREMO!

Public Sales will start Tuesday, May 31st 2011 10AM PST!

EDIT: OOOH thread name change! 10 out of 40 :D

Great choices! Saw IE at Metalcamp a few years back, great stuff even if I don't understand German.

I approve of all 3 bands! Fucking awesome!!!! :headbanger: :headbanger: :headbanger:

Never seen Amorphis and I'm not too familiar with their music but I like what I've heard. In Extremo is fun to listen to and should be a good show.

Moonsorrow is certainly the highlight of this announcement! Seen them once and it was a great show. :shred:
