+10 for KYUSS!! or Kyuss Lives! as they call themselves these days.

Suicidal Tendencies with a special appearance by Rocky George if he is still around.

And ALICE COOPER! But I dare call him metal for lyrical content alone. Not to mention his more metalish albums.

I didn't put these guys down before cuz they'd broken up and frontman Gordie Johnson was fronting another pretty cool 3 piece called Grady but, seeing as they've reunited for a new album and are touring (only half of  ) Canada over the next couple months, I'll add them here. Not really metal enough for our ship but definitely one of the heavier rock/blues bands around. No one has guitar tone like Gordie.

New album and tour info: http://bigsugar.com/

One of my fave tunes by them Wild Ox Moan
So far at least, 2011, 2012 & 2015 were enough for me

The heaviest non metal band ever. SWANS. God damn, I'd love to see SWANS.

And I second the Subhumans. 70s and early 80s brit anarcho punk. Yes, please. Personally, I'd also like to see Doom as well, but good luck getting a bunch of anti-capitalists to play a show that costs over a grand to attend. I still say they were the most aggressive band to play Maryland Deathfest this year. They were simply amazing. Would miss Hail of Bullets a thousand times to see Doom.

I would like to see Michael Monroe. He just announced that guitarist Dregen (formerly Backyard Babies & Hellacopters) is joining his band. Nice match there.

I would love this as well. I do believe that they are all still alive. Jason just got a star on the South Texas Walk of Fame, so you know he's hit the big time!

I was also gonna throw in a vote for Turbonegro, but unbeknownst to me, Hank from Hell left the band in 2009 to focus on acting and scientology.
They just got a new guy to sing for them. http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=159806

Yeah, it was a great show. Although there wasn't as much theatrics as previous tours but it was still very enjoyable. Everyone was also surprised that he even got to play an encore considering he wasn't the headliner.

Although to be fair you said that Def Leppard were shit anyway so it sounds reasonable to me that Alice Cooper should have an encore

True. A fair amount of people left after Alice Cooper showing that it was a bad match of bands but at least it felt like he was headlining.

there were quite a lot theatrics, Frankenstein's monster being the most impressive

oh yeah, how did I forget about Eddie 2.0

never seen this 'trick' before - I loved how Frankenstein's monster was walking and moving like "real"

Agreed. I saw him earlier this week and he played a new song called I'll Bite Your Face Off. Enough said.

last Friday, he played that one, too (wearing a jacket reading "NEW SONG" on the back)
another perfect Cooper show it was!

I actually missed him in Lichtenfels on June, 17. This was the only concert in Germany in 2011. So I am waiting for the "Welcome 2 my Nightmare" tour.
