 Another favorite band of mine - have never seen them. Someone here on the forum recently mentioned they saw Neil Morse somewhere in Europe, I believe. What a great voice.

One of my favorite songs of theirs: The Doorway http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nbXl1gX7TQ

Hi Laura, seems like we do have a similar taste in music. I really love Spock's Beard. Their music is just beautiful. And yes the Doorway is an amazing song. Lately I listened quite often to "The light" Such a great song.
And yes I would agree Neals voice is really beautiful.

 nice! I don't have their album The Light  (will need to check it out - the title song is 15 minutes according to something I'm reading at the moment - ), also don't have their couple most recent, but do have six albums in between - Beware of Darkness (1996) through Feel Euphoria (2003). Great stuff!

You really should try to get "The Light" then. It is one of their best cds in my opinion. And "The Light" and "The Water" are both brilliant Longtracks. It is just amazing what happens in those songs.
Especially when they play them live it is amazing.
I think I got almost every album of them. But I havent listened to the last album yet. Havent found a chance yet. I guess the jewel case must be really dusty by now.

Also i saw Tool play when i was 19 i think at Ozzfest in ireland.
Ozzy decide he wasn't bothered to show up and called in sick the day of the festival which resulted in Tool takeing the headlining spot.
By god that was the most boring concert i ever endured in my life.

Even when it is a bit embarrassing,, but I have to say I really enjoyed Hammerfall when I saw them live a week ago. Never thought I would though. As I don't like the image they have build up. But they are a really good live band I have to say. So I guess it should be fun to see them live again on board. But I still will refuse to sing their cheesy lyrics along.

How about deadstar assembly? (from Florida) or Zeromancer? (From England) or even Marilyn Manson, even though I think he is to big to accept this gig...
Also how about Journey? They are on tour right now and for each ticket is like $200 and they are the only good band on that tour..

Zeromancer are from Norway as far as I remember. Saw them a few years ago, ok band, but a bit boring :)

Fair enough, I understand that, Evanescence was my gateway to Metal, I still love them even though Amy Lee annoys me
