Artillery for 2012

While Kevin brings the thunder with Hail Of Bullets, and Mr. Jones brings the lightning with Motorhead...I shall now bring the ARTILLERY!

Yes, that's right folks, the Danish Thrash Metal titans of the same name, Artillery! (Yes, I shall burn it into your brain)

I think few here could argue that they are indeed worthy of inclusion in this finest of Metal cruises. With a long storied history, and having never compromised their sound, I think many a headbanger would enjoy what they have to offer our ringing ears. Make no mistake that they would indeed love to join us on our journey and melt faces along the way!

So join me in my quest to make the powers that be realize that it must be so, and that we want our dose of....ARTILLERY!!!

To say we need Artillery would be a huuuuuuuuuuge understatement. After UMC shot their "thrash load" last year, Artillery is on the short list of Top Tier Thrash Bands remaining that are needed. Maybe you never heard of them you say? Fair enough, as they were criminally underrated for their time.

Poor Menmoch, he created that thread and everyone just assumes it's "my baby". While I don't really have a problem with that per say, I don't want our salmiakki sucking Finnish Friend to get a complex over it. And to his credit, he did have HoB in his signature before I did. I really hope this happens. They played the Rockhard Fest last year and I managed to miss all but about 10 minutes of their set. Should have payed more attention to the time than the beer tent.

I would love for Artillery to be added, but I'm not too worried about it. As Kevin mentioned, I'll be seeing them next May in Maryland. Either way, I'll throw my support for more good thrash!

True, but I would like to see them 3X instead of just 1. And the cruise is a much more personal setting, which chances to hear more than just your "typical setlist"

They got some solid tracks for sure. New singer has a pretty cool voice ( Can't wait to hear Serpent Saints record something with him) and his voice is similar to the old singers, so no doubt he can do the old stuff. Their videos crack me up cause they are the least metal looking thrash band that i have seen in some time. But no doubt about it, they are metal.
