There's good and bad. For me it's pretty much always way too sweet.

I LOVE mead, I adore sweeter drinks - beer/wine especially and its perfect. There's this one really good spiced mead that I've tried quite a few times but I can't remember the name (which that in itself speaks well for it  ).

We had gluten free beer in Australia called Silly Yaks but it was discontinued. There is a brewery called O'Brien that does gluten free beer, and Billabong like gnoff mentioned. I also used to drink Schnitzer Brau but that was imported - they did a lemon beer too which was nice.

Why search the web for beer-related info, when we have gnoff?

Now if I can come up with some really odd beer questions. Well, actually that would be easy, but... :givebeer:

I tried a gluten free beer a few weeks ago, but don't remember the name right off. I usually just pick up a few pints of whatever new import is on hand at the beer store. It wasn't horrible but I'll take gluten ...or free... over gluten free. The winner from the latest trip was Hacker Pschorr - Hefe Weisse, very tasty but I can fill a keg with home brew for less than the cost of a six pack of the imports.

Oh that is some good stuff! I remember going to their place in Munich as part of a beer tour. It was towards the end of it and we were all really hammered by that time. Must've broken at least 10 glasses between the group

On a good note, they (RC) let you have anything they took from you trying to sneak in or stuff you bought at the duty free back on the last day. At that point you can go all out. Buy the dinky little coke pass and mix away unless you're super hardcore and looking to go straight.

Just remember it isn't a race and you want to enjoy the metal hopefully not totally obliterate.

In full agreement. Mixed drinks prices were ok and most of the bartenders poured well.
Catch a buzz and enjoy the show (guests included). Not worth getting drunk, passing out, and missing the music, shows, and the guests. LOL :heavydrink:

OK, this explains why I've recently (last 3 years) started to like red wine. Don't get me wrong, still loving the hard stuff but in addition some good wine (and beer, and cider). As I've gotten older my taste of music has also gone harder towards death metal. Those two go hand in hand, Isee.

Exactly what kinds of beers did they sell on the cruise? Sorry if this has already been posted I didn't feel like reading through the entire thread.

This worries me, please dont tell me they only sell like bud light and miller.

I spent most of the time drinking Dos Equis, Amstel Light and Heineken. Not the greatest but they worked. Also saw a lot of Coronas. Now quit being lazy and use the search function!
