Yes, that's right kiddies. As we fast approach that golden week in January, the time has come to once again announce the Pre Party for all you Metal maniacs to enjoy. Gotta kick off things right

Well first, to answer Mooyagi. This is different venue (a brand new one at that) that is very aware of what is in store for them. The bars will be fully stocked, and I doubt the prices will fluctuate during the course of the evening.

Now as for Mr. Stover's question about a post party? That is something I am considering, but only if I get enough feedback that a fair number of you will still be in town the Saturday AFTER the cruise. Trust me, you'll need Friday to sleep off the effects of the cruise. Of course, doing a post party on that Friday is also possible, but it would be more exhausting. I think I'll make a separate topic thread concerning that.

Thanks Cap! I realized after I posted that that it's a new venue but was too lazy to edit.

Is this place going to be bigger than the last place? The Transit Lounge was a really cool spot with the indoor and outdoor setup but it did get really packed as the night wore on.

At any rate, I'm sure it will be a gigantic success like it was the first time!

Yes, I agree with you there. UMC crew, let me know if you'll be joining us this time. Hopefully we can get some of the bands there again like last time.

As if 4 straight days of heavy drinking wasn't enough. I was planning to party hard on Saturday before the cruise and then take a day off Sunday, in preparation for the cruise. If my friend(s) will join me at the pre-party = 6 days in a row. A vacation after the vacation will be necessary.

yeah i'm lucky i have 11 more days off after i get back to Canada since i am taking 3 weeks worth of holidays all told. by the end i should be able to pull my liver out and beat someone to death with it, it will be so hard
