Plain vodka is a household item, so no need to promote it.

That it is, but the Bacardi girls weren't.

- 2,051 'paying passengers' (an increase of 13 from 2011)
- 51% of those were 'veterans' so 1,046 of the 2,038 from 2011 returned.
- 25% from Germany, 25% from USA. Next most represented country was Canada. Australia was the 7th most represented.
- 100 journalists
- 452 band members, roadies etc
- 879 crew

Wonder how many Mexicans were there this year?

That's not much of a sale for me
More dudes on metal festivals = more girls pulling the booze sales of stuff nobody wants to buy
More hot girls pulling the sales = More gets sold
Works, even though it shouldn't

We'll never know the full count since they were all undocumented

If not........I will be a journalist in 2013

I think they get 50% off

I think it depended on what magazine they were writing for. I met one creepy German journalist dude who said he paid 50% and one other journalist who said he got on for free.
Would think that if the mag was something like Unicorn Monthly with only one subscriber the price would be higher than, say, for Metal Hammer or similar.

No way Unicorn Monthly has fewer subscribers than Metal Hammer

I don't get the magazine myself though, but my pizza lunch date from earlier today told me some about it

It was very nice!!
And also of course very nice to have almost 50% of the bands done before booking starts, anyone still not sure if they want to go due to lineup can just stay home

I guess the only thing I'm scared of is taht we'd get a bunch of "yeah I'm fucking death and brutal and anything silly or not tr00 can fuck off" type of fans onbroad Barge.
Hopefully they don't get enough of their wish list bands and/or that they can't afford it
I want fun, friendly, cool people onbroad, not a bunch of stupid cunts

No it wouldn't, because that would probably be the whole weekend before departure in that case
