There was a LOT of thrash on the first one and I'd bet we'll get a couple of those bands again. I think BTH and 70k will be pretty even for thrash. We'll know SOOOOOON!!

Does anyone know what the definition of "a few days" in UMC speak is? We've all really struggled with the word "soon" but I've been having even more difficulty with this one.

Just a few more days until we will greet the first Artists on our trip to the undead!

Lots probably already noticed but my husband stated that the 70k site was slightly updated and now has informed us that bands will be announced SOON...maybe 3 weeks or so

They changed that a couple weeks after this year's cruise actually. I think they'll do it round the same time as last year which was Right after easter weekend.

Not my FAVOURITE either but I like everything, that's why 70k is for me. I still haven't really gotten into old school death metal and other really extreme stuff but I do appreciate it. I'd just rather a cruise that has some power, some death, some folk, and some thrash. :mrgreen:

The only bands I'm regretting missing out of the first 16 are Hypocrisy and Artillery. There are a couple others I've seen before too, but those 2 are wishlisters for me.
