Nice touching write up! Thanks for posting. Reminded me of all the funny shit Rab did with Detsorgsekalf. For those who may have missed some or all of that greatness, here's a link.

Had to steal this pic from one of the vids just cuz it made me grin :D

Never been to the place, but this could be a nice push for me to pay my respects in a way to Rab as well.

Went Friday and had a beer in rememberance of Rab and Duane, cheers guys, you will not be forgotten.

I was thinking about the last conversation I had with him. I asked him if he knew anything about the Epica/Insomnium/Alestorm tour and he said he didn't know much other than System Divide and Destiny Potato are on the bill as well. When dates came out he told me that Insomnium is a really rare treat for North America and I should do what I can to travel somewhere and see that show. It'd be a really special treat if Insomnium got booked for Barge then, but if not I might have to make the trip to Vancouver or something for the sake of Rab. :deathmetal:

Stellar, solid and bonertastic !! all words Rab used daily. As well as Dizzle, Epic and many other cool phrases.

the last thing he said to me the day before he passed was "its all good home slice" miss him. he will be missed on the cruises. he was a huge part of it. i cannot understand why each cruise we have to lose a family member but i hope it does not happen again to anyone else.

i can imagine that some bands will give a shout out to Rab like Athiest did to Duane..... i am proud to have met them both and party with them, even though it was way too brief....

reminds me of the conversation we had when i told him i had the iron maiden- flight 666 on blu ray and he said you can hear him in that, during the concert footage and also his name is in the credits as he worked on the film....

RIP Rab, hope they have the tastiest beer in Valhalla... :chug:

I went to behemoth/watain/devils blood/in solitude friday 4/20 in seattle, but talked to him about BTH before hand on our facebook pages and he was going to wacken too his 6th year. Then i went up to Vancouver BC Saturday for the behemoth show up there and i met fellow cruiser Katia Villa at the Savoy Pub on Hastings and she delivered the news. my cell was turned off to avoid international roaming charges, she showed me the facebook posts in the forum fiends group.

i ended up getting really really drunk in Canada......

    such a horrible tragedy. shocking.......

i am going to get a shirt printed up. just a basic white shirt with the "seventeen" magazine pic rab had on his facebook and wear it on the BTH.......

    RIP Rob.
