Also, Vancouver to Alaska all the way! that would be so cool, thought it would NEVER ever happen lol.

This reminds me that an Alaskan cruise would be an awesome thing to do

Well, there's not a real problem for me as I decided to go, but I can hardly book my flight + hotel before to book the cruise  Just hope that I wont have to book everything in same time, that would be harder with money  BTW, the cruise have priority and hope Turisas will be also on the ship :wank:

.. for me it was only one day but for them I think almost all the cruise, they had to change clothes and have a bath in 5 minutes

hahahahahha yeah... my cabinmate was locked in the cabin everytime I wanted to enter ¬¬, luckily they locked the door and never caught them in the act.
I think I would have never recovered from that image.
    Pinche maremoto :P

If I can go again next year I will surely talk to you, Nicolas, Sebastian and all colombian guys to book a room.

How do the doors lock? Does it keep people out even if they have cards? I wanna know how to do that for next time because this past cruise the damn cleaning guy kept opening the room up early in the morning.

I just put the little "do not disturb" sign thingy in the card slot and they left you alone.

Ours got stolen on the second day. We made one out of paper but it didn't have the same effect

You can lock it from the inside and can't enter even with your card. There's a... locking thing... below the pick to do it I think.

Damn! 70K 2013 ends on February 1st. February 2nd is one of the more interesting looking hockey games for the Dildocorn: Bruins vs Coyotes on Coyote home ice. Haha that would be hilarious to watch! Gonna be tight, though

We'll be able to make it happen. 70K 2013 gets out on the 1st so we can fly back either that day or early on the 2nd. We wouldn't lose much time for the flight because of the time zones so it wouldn't be too difficult.

They already announced the dates as January 28 - Feb 1 2013. I'm wondering if they are waiting until the final monthly installments of Barge payments are made before they ramp up 70K booking. I know we have one more month to go on that.

    Yucky!

It's not in Miami, thankfully. The prices for hotels and the amount of people in the area would've sucked. Hopefully the Pats will be in it again! Only this time, they actually win the damn thing.

    Its getting a bit....weird, isn't it?

Its now almost 2 months since the date was announced for 2013. We do have a date (which is only 220 days away now), but that can be easily changed I guess.....

Andy certainly marches to the beat of a different drum.

We have a date and we have a ship. Isn't that enough as a first announcement?

If you check RCI's (Royal Caribbean) homepage you will notice that Majesty of the seas can be booked for any time in 2013 except January 28th to February 1st.

I guess they try to get the barge full and then begin the announcements for 70k 2013.

NO panic, we will have our cruise in January

mmmm.. what I said can be misunderstood :P... Jeff wasn't involved in the "railing the cuchas" activity, he was not the cucha and was not the "railer"

    Who's Jeff?

Neither the railer nor the cucha (?)

Yeah, I've just realize he's not in the forum  , he was my cabinmate and Disco's friend :D

Agreed, at least for most of what you said. The only thing that bothers me is that we get less time to pay. Last year, booking started in april, so people could plan ahead their vacation. If 70K is announced today (call that wishful thinking...), we have 7 months to pay, and since the full payment will probably be due in november, we will actually have 5 months to pay. I'm in luck, since I have the money to pay for it within 5 months, but many potential cruisers might be turned off be the small window of time there is to pay for the cruise. Either Andy is a little overconfident with the return of last year's cruisers, or he's gonna come up with a hell of a lineup.

The problem with a great starting lineup for 70K? Sales for Barge will drastically slow down, probably. Hence the wait; sales on Barge have to be satisfactory before they announce the other cruise. One problem brings another in business! ;)

While I would prefer to not have to pay for 70K until after I'm done paying for Barge, it does seem to be getting a bit tight. Not everyone is going no matter what like me. I'm guessing a whole slew of bands will be announced at once

One's gotta figure that some kind of 70K announcement should be coming up really....not gonna say it

They've gotta give enough time for people to come up with the money and to do the monthly payment plans.

Has anyone at the European festivals seen Andy/Allison/Blake/anyone promoting the cruises like they had the past couple of years?

Cool! People were hoping for a Jets/Coyotes (former Jets ) game on Coyote ice but it isn't happening. Damn, at this point I just hope we have Coyote ice next season

where the hell is our 70K announcements ........... if they keep stalling I may end up missing both trips.

right now I can only do one or the other, but I don't wanna decide until I know who's on 70K or at least a good chunk of them.

please more info on the 70k line-up :beerhorns:
