In regards to band repeats there is no point in bitching. This is a festival just like any other festival .Most festivals have a few bands that play like every 2 years.Just look at the band lineups for most festivals in Europe. You gotta remember because that while you may have seen the band on the cruise there are people who were there last year or never on the cruise who haven't seen this band. The pulling factor may not be as big as the initial cruise for these bands given the amount of people going on the cruise for the 3rd time but they are actually bands who will pull in new people every time.
It would be unrealistic for 70k cruise to not repeat bands every 2 or 3 years due to the sales they need and considering the expense of the cruise itself.

I was not on 70k 2011 so I am perfectly fine with them bringing back bands from that cruise :D

Especially since there were a lot of bands on that cruise I would like to see. Id be fine any of the following: Dark Tranquillity, Amon Amarth, Arsis, Blind guardian, Finntroll, Korpiklaani, Testament, or Tyr.

Just not all of them because that would be a little lame

This is my point exactly.A lot of the people who were on this years cruise really wished they could ahve seen certain bands from the year before

haha...I loved the first year's lineup. A lot.

I agree! And if you wanted to see it you should have gone. Now let's get an equally great line up for
round 3! So now there is MAJOR work to do to match round 1!

Fucking awsome, I dont envy you at all......... :? I would like go to Barge too but its only Behemoth for me on that ship that counts, the other bands are good, but not a major pinnacle for me as Behemoth is.
My belief came true though... Behemoth for Barge Turisas for 70k. Both of these bands were the one's I wished for as nr 1...But I´ve seen Behemoth once, Turisas I have never seen and 70k has already a better lineup (in my opinion) so far than Barge.

So lets see if Barge gets Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth, Vader and 70k gets Xandria, Brymir, Dalriada, Dark fortress or watain (probably not...) they would probably play on Barge anyways....then we are talking. I´ll probably go to the bank the same day to get a loan if this happens.

Have very few bands I care about at all for 70k, I still booked it

I put my money on the fun I've had on that ship with awesome people and good arrangements, wo hello to both BtH and 70ToM 13 for me!

Great attitude! Thats why everyone loves you =)

Well hopefully we travel dec and january to South America to walk the inka trail and harvest souls upon the mountains and sacrifice them to Baphomet on Top of Maccu Pichu...Then travel around in south america for a while then up to the states for death cruise in january. Thats our plan, thing is....it will cost us greatly and we would have no payed vacation days since Sweden Rock, Wacken and Metalcamp. But if money wouldnt be an issue we would go bareg first then inka trail and finish with 70k, that would be fantastic =)

I think it's just selling out because of us veterans that basically go no matter what. I don't think non veterans would book without knowing the lineup

Non-veterain here...if I could, I would have booked the day it went on sale to the vets. As it is, I'm holding my breath until next Tuesday, hoping there will still be an affordable cabin.
