I spoke to Jon at a show recently and he said a Demons and Wizards tour early 2013 plus he'd love to do the cruise again.
Cruise might be a good way to kick off a long overdue D&W tour

That would be great. Even Hansi Kürsch has announced that Blind Guardian will make a concert break till 2014. So that could fit. (http://www.the-pit.de/band-news/article ... -bis-2014/ ) (but it is in german) :bangers:
Metal is forever! Peace for all - Fuck fanatics.

North American tour in early 2013 or just "a tour" which probably means Europe?

He told me that they would be doing a NA tour. Since their first tour was only a select few shows overseas. He did say he was going to try and set up a Iced Earth/Blind Guardian/B&W tour but also cited how near impossible that has been to get together.

Since UMC is based out of Canada, how about representing yourselves with Augury! One of my favorite under-the-radar Death Metal bands.

Canada is always under-represented on these! Speaking of Montreal bands like Augury, why not Quo Vadis, Martyr, Beyond Creation, Unexpect etc etc!!

I really like the lineup this year. In Extremo sold this for me last year (not that I wouldn't have wanted to go no matter what) but this year its Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and Subway To Sally as they never play in the U.S. I'd love to see some of the bands from Einheit Produktions booked like Thrudvangar, Black Messiah and Ahnengrab. They are awesome bands and I have no hope that they are coming to the States any time soon. I would also love to see a Cathedral reunion (if only for the cruise), Down, Danzig, Electric Wizard, Eisbrecher, Skyfire, Running Wild, Blind Guardian, Nomansland, Norther, Catamenia, Angelwitch, Pagan Altar, sHeavy, Burning Saviors, Tiamat, Carcass, Kalmah, Old Man's Child, Vader, Abominant and Varg. I wish I had seen the Twilight of the Gods. Bring this back or maybe do the same thing for Dissection! :death:

I love them! I wish they would tour sometime. I use to order from the drummer's mail order all the time. It turned me on to some great doom stuff. I've got all the pre-Witchcraft stuff and it's killer. I wouldn't mind seeing Witchcraft added. You can't go wrong with doom.

Alpine Fault is "Koiwoi". I saw them a few weeks ago with Hanzel und Gretyl in Wellington. I enjoyed them, but I doubt they'd make it on the cruise.

Rage is not my favorite but I like them. Also a band that never comes to the US so its a rare chance

I have the impression most people here have no clue about this announcement. This is not a Rage repeat, this is Rage and the Lingua Mortis Orchestra.

    Goolge Lingua Mortis Orchestra

    ... and enjoy!

    Great announcement!

Very cool announcement. It'll be interesting seeing an orchestra playing with them on the boat. I dig it.

Sweet! Rage was awesome on the first cruise and it'll be interesting to see them with the orchestra. Watching clips of past performances with them now.

I remember Peavy being everywhere on the first cruise. I saw him more than any other musician. This still counts as a repeat to me even though it has the orchestra added. I'm happy but still waiting for a "new" announcement to get me all wet and giggly.
