My wife doesn't want to go, Sue said 3 is enough. So if I book it looks like I'll be flying solo.

    Amazed and elated.
But it will never happen, especially since there were only 13 total that I liked last cruise.

I'm with you Stache. I had a blast but a lackluster lineup will not convince me to move forward with a hasty decision this time around. Last year I had cruise fever and now that fever has gone down a bit.

13?? That's a lot..... There were 6 bands i really liked and a few I didn't know before. And even after the cruise, I am still below 13.....

I'm thinking of making a return.but There would have to be a rare act announced to get me on.As I'll be tight for money with heading to LA next year and possibly Canada later this year.

For me it is not important where the ship is sailing. For me it is important to know what bands are playing. ;)

    AGREED :death: :death: :death:

I agree, even though the only "girlie" bands I supported being on the cruise were Epica and Nightwish. I still believe that there was a distinct average age drop onbroad the year that Children Of Bodom and Nightwish were on the line up.

Having said that, I will still push for ReVamp to be onbroad next year. :boobs:

EDIT: I also don't care where the ship goes as long as it's not Cozumel. That place was horrible.

be glad you missed it i'm not sure the technically side of everything for that set but the sound was bad Alexi was lazy and barely had any passion on stage till the end when they cut his power and he had his little hissy fit as he walked off stage. i used to love listening to CoB but after the live set they might be the most heavily skipped band on my ipod, i just could care less to listen to them now.

What the_creep said above. This is a great start. Really loved both jamming sessions so I'm totally there again (unless Epica has a gig on pool stage at the same time).

Missing both jams is probably the one thing I regret about the cruise. I'll be sure to check out at least one this next 70K.

Also, I really like the daily noannouncements. Tank you, Skipper and UMC crew!
    70K 2013 SURVIVOR (Cabin 2120)
    70K 2014 SURVIVOR (Cabin 2565)

    In perpetual post-cruise depression/pre-cruise anxiety.

Doing my best to be there for 2015.

Well played Andy, even though you might get a few haters from the nonannouncements, I know there are several, including myself, that loves this far FAR more than weeks or months of nothing.

Of course I think everyone would be happiest with early band announcements, running order, when to be able to book, what the cost would be, when we whoe book can vote for the destination, when the destination will be settled, etc, and likely more things than that.

Just saying, nonannouncement every day >> nothing at all.

    Keep it up! :beerbang:
