There has not been a weekend announcement from UMC in a long long time, so if we don't get anything in the next 10 hours, there won't be any more bands announced before the cancellation deadline

2011 - 34 bands had been announced
2012 - 28 bands had been announced
2013 - 20 bands
2014 - 14 (MINUS KAMELOT) bands
So if that trend continues, those people that decide to do it again in 2015 can expect to know about 6 bands at this time next year.

12 out of 40 and counting...

Ok. That really makes me wonder.

I'm not going on 70K 2014, but for those who are, has anyone called or thought of calling Royal Caribbean itself?

Then, 11 posts in 19 days during the voting process.
And now - nothing for 12 days and counting.
I'm not sure what it is Is it arrogance? Is it ignorance? Is it pure blind faith in the product (70k) being so good that the thought is that it can just be 'phoned in' with the least effort possible in order to maximise profit?
Whatever it is, its not working. Instead of the excited anticipation of previous years I'm left feeling a little stressed and a lot nervous

cowboy71 wrote:So another month of no-announcements comes to a close. Historically a quiet month so taken in isolation not a big deal, but when combined with the 4 months of non-announcements preceeding it.....
Anyway - what has the past given us in November?
2011 cruise - Voivod
2012 cruise - no announcements
Barge - about 40% of the lineup
2013 cruise - Evergrey, Tiamat, Arkona, Unexpect

Yeah I have a feeling we MIGHT get a band in November but I think we'll get a landslide of bands in December and again in January.
